I’ve driven past Parker’s BBQ Pit so many times over the past few months when I’m in town and finally stopped in for lunch today — right at noon, and no lineup!
The smell when you walk in is unreal. It instantly took me back to Tennessee. That authentic, smoky BBQ aroma hits you before you even order.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. I had the pulled pork sandwich with BBQ mac and cheese, and it did not disappoint. We also tried different meats, the BBQ potato salad, and of course banana pudding. Everything was packed with flavor and tasted homemade. Topped it all off with a sweet tea, and it was the perfect Southern-style lunch.
If you’re in Havre and craving real-deal BBQ, this spot is 100% worth the stop. We’ll definitely be back!

Today we stopped at this place, after reading the reviews and expected some good bbq. Well dont believe the reviews, because this place was awful the big manager guy acted like we interrupted his day. I ordered 2 meats, brisket and ribs and a side of potato salad. (We had to ask 2 times for the potato salad) This is where I knew we should of went to pizza hut instead. The manager guy sliced a thin 4 oz cut of brisket, so I asked for another slice, they tasted like roast. Then I asked for ribs, he gave me a dried out hard small end of the rack, then a cut from another rack. The cut from the 2nd rack was so dry and tasteless I couldn’t swallow it. My wife ordered the brisket tacos, the big manager guy, scraped pieces of meat from a tin and weighed it with the corn tortillas. The tacos were all coleslaw with scrapes of brisket at the bottom. She had coleslaw in a corn tortilla with a hint of brisket scraps. We paid 17.00 for two 4oz slices of brisket and 8.80 for dried out tasteless old ribs. And 8.50 for coleslaw tacos with a hint of brisket scraps. VERY EXPENSIVE FOR SMALL PORTIONS OF SCRAPS.
Crazy because they advertise Veteran owned, im a OIF & OEF Veteran as well and this place was what we call substandard, needs improvement and embarrassing to all bbq joints. I recommend yall go to pizza hut save your money. I cant believe they got an award on the wall.

We live in Alabama, and Parker’s BBQ is better than the majority of BBQ we have had there. The brisket was tender and flavored well. The ribs were excellent! Absolutely delicious. We had two sides: potato salad and mac n’ cheese. Both were good, but the potato salad was everyone’s favorite. The corn bread was sweet and moist. They have a good beer selection. The place is very clean and bright. A good place for a large family. They also have outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

Great location. Very bright and warm.

Great food, had the green apple coleslaw, jalapeño cornbread, and pulled pork sandwich. Never had green apple coleslaw before but now it’s my favorite. It’s not the mayo/slop kind of coleslaw you get at a store. You get a lot of pulled pork for the sandwich, it kept wanting to fall out.

Would go again if I pass Havre

This is an order-at-the-counter place. We prefer to peruse a menu at our own pace than the pressure of trying to navigate a busy board on the wall while being watched by bored looking staff.
Pricey for the light amount of food we got. Husband got a platter, disappointed in the snack-sized portions at meal-sized prices.
He said the potato salad was very good. I had a smoked turkey sandwich which was of good quality, if but spare and lonely on its bun. I think maybe I could have added toppings in Subway fashion. No chips or sides came with the sandwich. We purchased corn bread. Stopping on a long journey, looking for a satisfying meal, we didn’t leave feeling satiated.

Went to Havre for a gunshow with my husband and stopped in for lunch. Immediately upon entering it smelled delicious!! We order mac and cheese with brisket. It was so good. We ordered a pound of brisket to take home for later. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal..

Stopped here without knowing what to expect other than, well, meat. We really enjoyed it! We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich with apple slaw on, and a side of mac and cheese. The regional BBQ was similar to Virginia style (where I’m from) where it is very saucy rather than vinegary. (They do have an NC vinegar style though.) Some cool merch as well but only a few have Have, MT on it, which I wanted since I’m visiting from the East Coast. Mac and cheese was very filling and we had enough in one side to split between the two of us. Woman at the register is a breast cancer survivor-warrior and was wearing an awareness shirt, I assume since October is breast cancer awareness month. She and I chatted a bit since there wasn’t a line and I was blessed by that! They also had lots of screens to watch games. Worth stopping in!

They were out of pulled pork (understandable since we showed up close to closing time), ended up getting 2 orders of brisket and 2 smoked Mac and cheese. The brisket was moist, juicy, & tender. The price was pretty high for the amount of food we got, $20 each for the meals in the photo. The brisket and the Mac and cheese were full of black pepper which is fine, but I found it slightly overpowering the smoked flavor of either item. Overall I felt it was decent food but way overpriced.
