decent service, slight above average American style teppan yaki place, do. Do not upgrade your rice to it’s garlic fried rice, they simply put too much garlic and lack of other flavours, it’s not taste fried rice and not worth it’s 11 dollars upgrade price

Staff – Great. Our chef was wonderful. Food – Bruh, what’s wrong with flavor? Not trying to be mean at all, genuine comparison. I felt McDonald’s had more flavor and quality. Ended up throwing away most of the food. Really want you guys to be successful, please fix the food quality issue

Absolutely terrible experience here.

We had a guest at our table with a severe nut allergy. She made a visible face of fear when her nut free food nearly touched nut containing food and our chef mocked her for it. Never been so disappointed by humanity in my life.

In addition to this.
– the food tasted terrible & soaked in oil
– the chef left the hot grill on after he finished cooking to blow smoke into our faces
– we saw no classic teppanyaki tricks beyond the onion volcano

DO NOT EAT HERE

We showed up 10 mins late for our reservation. Big mistake, or was it? Hostess couldn’t have been ruder. “You’re late” she greeted us. Yes, I replied with a sigh and smile we got lost trying to find our way through the property. She says ok well let me see if they can still accommodate you. We follow we over to the closed door and are ordered to wait while she checks with the chef. Nope, we are quickly turned away but not before she got a few more gabs in. First we were told we should’ve heeded the text (never sent through open table) that we needed to be ON time. Seems they only have a 5 min grace policy. Also, we were told that we should’ve valeted the car and not walked from our hotel next door.
All this is so curious as I had to reach out to the restaurant twice the day before the reservation and none of this was mentioned in advance.

The hostess staff could not have been more dismissive, condescending, or rude. We’ve always loved the Sheraton and LOVE teppan-yaki this place was set to be a home run but we left to find a restaurant who wanted our business. Easy enough these days. 3 min walk to Maui brew co we had a lovely dinner with view.

I’d avoid this place.

The biggest disappointment is the windowless restaurant that they managed to cramp 4 or 5 teppanyaki tables. The place is stuffy and uncomfortable – down to the cheap aluminums lawn-type chairs. Felt a little cheap for a restaurant that runs $50-100/pax

Food is just OK – nothing memorable but portions were decent. Taste was just average. Same for service.

We had Randall as our chef. He was very entertaining and the food was delicious. He was the only person at the resort that acknowledged our honeymoon so that was very nice! Wish we could have gotten an early dining time. 8:45 pm was 2:45 am our time.

The food was extremely greasy – the chef poured way too much oil, and everything was basically swimming in fat. I ordered fish with fried rice, but for some reason the chef added bacon to the rice, which made no sense at all. How does fish go with bacon? The “show” was almost nonexistent, just a couple of jokes and setting the oil on fire. What really ruined the experience was that after finishing the cooking, the chef didn’t clean up the grill, so we had to eat while staring at burnt leftovers. Honestly, for a restaurant inside a good hotel, this was embarrassing. I would not recommend it.

Food was average tasted fine. We wanted an experience and were very disappointed. The chef sand a little but there were no theatrics, no food being chopped and thrown, no entertainment. We got more laughs from the gentleman serving us. There’s plenty of great food around to avoid paying almost $100/ person at this place

We loved this experience. It is like any other hibachi table but with an extra touch of fun with a group. We quickly became friends with everyone around the table and loved the atmosphere. Our chef was so fun, inclusive and loved joining in on our conversations. Food options were incredible!!

Went to the restaurant while in Hawaii for vacation. The hibachi was a great experience. Both the food and service were good.
