They just opened very recently and we were very excited to try. The first time we visited they ran out of lobster and crawfish. This is the second time we went, early on a Saturday evening. The lobster and crawfish combo (shown in picture) was so delicious. Absolutely love the spicy flavor. You can also choose how hot you want it to be. We were recommended to add a side to mix it up with the sauce. We added noodles and it was a great combination. Speaking of the service, the best part was this robot assistant who took us to the bathroom. They also have other robots that will bring you food. It was definitely a fun experience. The only thing is that the service could use some improvement. We got our cocktail after our food. You can tell that they are ramping up since they just opened.

This place is delicious. Margaritas were incredible, especially the blood orange which has real fruit and the Serrano. We got 2 pounds of seafood for two people plus oysters and it was exactly the right amount. Seafood was incredible, crab was sweet and delicious. When you’re done making a mess of your hands there is a sink with a lovely scrub for your hands. Also a robot serves your food, can’t beat that. The people were also lovely.

We went for my birthday and it was fantastic. At first I had reservations as the place was empty. The robot was a very special touch and the food was excellent. We went for medium spiced Grand Boil, which was garlic and buttery delicious. The takoyaki and oysters were also excellent. Cannot wait to return.

***BEWARE***
I Came with mother on a Sunday for her 83rd bday.
Her green tea never arrived.
Lobster roll was overcooked.
Crawfish had freezer burn.
Discussed with waiter and nothing was said or done to make it better.

*** HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, I didn’t think it was possible to have such an experience. ***

SONO Boil opened up recently. We decided to try it out as a group of 3 people. We walked in and there was a few groups inside (around 6 different groups).

Our waiter himself was actually great, he was attentive, personable and he was definitely trying to make a great experience. The food was pretty solid overall.

However, the overall experience wasn’t great. It took the bar staff 40 minutes to get our first drink, it actually came out AFTER our appetizer and only when we asked for it. It was not a complicated order, 2 cans on Lawson’s Sip Of Sunshine and 1 margarita.

Our friend visiting from out of state ordered a second Margarita, he reminded the waiter who was very polite and reminded the bartender, after 30 minutes it didn’t come..so we had to cancel it as we could see they didn’t even start making it.

What was upsetting is that we sat right next to the bar, had a clear view of where the tickets were being printed and could see that there were times where the bartender was just standing around talking (at the time there was 3 people at the bar who all got their drinks fast). We also had to ask for water 2 or 3 times before getting it.

I get opening a new restaurant and getting up to speed takes time but with a staff of what looked to be 6+ people I was surprised to see the bartenders socializing and taking 30+ minutes to get drinks out, staff standing around for 10 minutes not really doing much, and one guy (our waiter) who was running around doing a lot – we felt bad for our waiter, he was actually good, but it felt like his team didn’t really back him. I’d be hesitant on returning especially if it was a full house (when we went it was around 5:45pm or so, not busy at all.)
