Social Profile:

Dark. Discreet. Decadent. An indulgent refuge of over the top decor and under the tank mischief. A watering hole for dreamy aesthetes, wandering flaneurs, and swaggering dandies. Here, the high born mingle easily with the lowbrow, bon vivants linger with the lugubrious, and everyone is willkommen. A guy’s guy sort of place, with a menu to match: epicurean, savory favorites shaped by the Chef’s personal obsessions. A wine list not meant for the faint of heart. A bar that gladly pours your martini in place of an entrée. Desserts designed to prolong the pleasure principle. This is a return to an era when evenings unfolded slowly and dressing to impress was a given. Jackets are required for men.

Classic & modern French fare served in the snazzy dining room of the posh Parker Palm Springs Hotel.

Posh clubby mid-century place for OTT dinners in Palm Springs. Def Old Palm Springs style – and I advise dressing up for it to make the evening special.

Atmosphere is wonderful and when you arrive you get high-touch treatment – speakeasy style entrance, complimentary mini flashlight to see menu, bone marrow butter in the shape of a candle, a piano player, branded matchbook which are rare these days. Host and Sommelier were wonderful.

Food standouts: crab cake, halibut, duck. We were too full for dinner.

Courses were very spaced out – our meal for 4 was 3 hours

Take some time to see the hotels artwork and decor

It can be a little hard to find the entrance at night

Birthday Perfection at Mister Parker’s

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here, and wow—what a night. The dim, sexy glow, velvet vibes, and perfectly crafted cocktails set the tone. Every bite was decadent, every glance across the table felt electric. Mister Parker’s isn’t just dinner—it’s foreplay for the senses.

They have a dress code but will also accommodate you if you don’t have a sports coat and will give you a fun/funky vibrant jacket to wear!

$$$$ Must Try;
Burrata Salad
Brussels Sprouts
Roasted Chicken
Halibut
Chocolate cake

It was nice, but does not deliver a dining experience equal to the price point. A lot of the aspects of fine dining were missing – no warning that the salad had cilantro, no one checked on us until the end of the meal, and no one commented that one of our dinners was basically untouched (quality/taste issue). Bizarrely, our waiter didn’t tell us that the candle was made of butter for the bread, and we didn’t realize that until we heard another table being told what it was for. Minor service and experience inconsistencies matter if you’re going for fine dining.

Drinks were great.

It’s fine to go to for an institutional box check, but there are better dining experiences in PS.

I have thought I’ve been to all of the fun high-end restaurants in Palm Springs until last night. Mr. Parker is now on my top three list. The service was amazing, food, phenomenal, and the decor and vibe ambience of this place was nothing short of amazing. Great date night spot

Recently discovered this Coachella gem. We went on back to back nights we enjoyed it so much! First night we had Delia and second night we had Marco. The ambiance is dark and sexy. . ..my wife agreed it is a Londonesque appearance but you could also say NYC.

Drinks were spectacular we had Sidecar and French 75 first night and then Negroni and Ruinart second night. The Sommelier Bruce is outstanding and he has some wonderful selections. We had brought our own bottle but were so impressed by his selections we ordered a wonderful Barolo. Amazing! Food was outstanding. I had Lyonnaise salad (superb the way the salad dressing and pork blend and mix wonderfully) and Chitarra dish (noodles with Cavier which I thought was good but didnt blow me away). My wife had the Mushroom Veloute and Halibut and she said both were outstanding. The next night we had Burrata salad and Lyonnaise and their chicken dish which was superb. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

The beautiful restaurant in the hotel. Very romantic environment, attentive service and delicious food, everything was great. The mushroom risotto was the best ever. They have an awesome wine list and people who work there are very knowledgeable about wine, cocktails and so on. We had a wonderful time and will revisit again even if we don’t stay at the hotel.

Unique & cool vibe ambiance. Greeted warmly by Victor the manager upon arrival but never saw him again. We were the only guests for an early 5:30pm seating (early morning flight next day) Waiters were attentive. Bruce the Somm doesn’t know much about wine outside of vineyards he personally knows in Northern California. Fresh sourdough to start, Burrata, grilled peach & prosciutto salad was divine. Lamb & Filet Mignon were both delicious & perfectly prepared. Service seemed to drop off towards the end of the meal. It was a beautiful place to dine. We will probably dine there again.

The level of atmosphere does not match the food. The higher level service people are spot on. However, the waiters, and the servers are less experienced and it shows. The choreography one would expect with having the food ordering and delivery with all the cutlery needed was missing and there was a lot of waiting for the staff to coordinate. Overall, the experience was fairly disjointed.

Edited – This is a place we come to whenever we are in Palm Springs.

They are now putting cayenne in the lobster bisque and for me, it overpowers the delicate lobster stock that is the base.

I was looking forward to the Spice Cake with Pumpkin Mousse and Salted Caramel Popcorn that was reviewed by Kamala Kirk in the December 2024 issue of The Guide, page 26. Our head waiter asked the chef about it when I inquired, and neither were familiar with the dessert ‍♀️.

Victor (new manager) came by a couple times to check on us and provided some extra care and accommodation during the dessert course.

The bone marrow and butter candle served with the warm sourdough loaf was amazing as always.

Great service, music, and atmosphere

We had a wonderful date night at mister parker. Our server Tristan was fantastic. Every aspect of our dining was excellent. From the ambiance to the cocktails and the food we couldn’t be happier with giving this place a try. We ordered the hamachi crudo and scallops as an appetizer. The scallops were so very good! For our main course we had filet mignon and duck and both were cooked to perfection. The bone marrow butter candle was just one of the many little details that contributed to a superb dining experience. Be prepared to spend a lot when dining here. For the 2 of us our bill was over $300 before tip but the quality or food and service makes it worth every penny. We will be coming back for another date night.
