Cool, brick-lined cafe & wine bar with a terrace serving gluten-free takes on classic pub fare.

One of the best wine bars in town, with beyond amazing food. The owners, chef, and staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It feels like dining with people who truly care about the art of making and serving great food and wine, without any of the pretentiousness. We had a lovely evening here, and it was one of our top experiences in LA. This place is special and we will be back regularly.

401k food and wine bar is a dedicated gluten free restaurant. They have delicious food that is so good my gluten eating husband kept asking if I was sure the food was safe for me. We had the Caesar salad, arugula salad, calamari, chicken and waffles, mini churros, and bread pudding. The servers were delightful, energetic, friendly, and gave great food recommendations. I can’t wait to visit again. It’s such relief to know everything is safe and to have such a great meal.

This is one of the best gluten-free places I’ve ever experienced. The fresh elevated street food dishes are exceptional! I had the mac & cheese and sesame bun beef sliders and OMG so good I went back and got the same dishes a second time! The employees are awesome, the atmosphere/vibe on the outdoor patio is so inviting with natural light, Brazilian samba and urban trendy shabby chic decor. Unfortunately they didn’t have a “to go” container big enough to fit the entire restaurant in so I could take the entire place back home to the SF Bay Area with me. I give this place a 10/5 stars! ❤️

Beautiful restaurant with spectacular food. It is always so exciting to eat at a restaurant that caters to people with dietary restrictions, and this fully dedicated gluten free restaurant does an amazing job without sacrificing flavour and texture. We are from out of the country, and are so disappointed that we can’t eat here often.

We drove all the way from San Diego to 401K to celebrate my daughter’s bday. It was almost perfect but we had to wait (cuz we moved our reservation to an hour early) to be seated… I was expecting to be indoors but we were seated by their patio. Food was almost perfect but the fried chicken and fries were kinda salty. And, we reminded the server twice for the following food: french fries and the double shot espresso.
But the mac and cheese, tiny burgers and tres leches cake were magnificent..not overwhelming in taste.. just perfect!
To be fair… definitely recommend for their gluten free

I can’t say enough good things. This place absolutely blew my mind.
Rosemary Focaccia Bread: THE SOFTEST gluten free bread I have EVER had. Absolutely delicious.
Baked Mac and Cheese: Great. Solid Mac and cheese. Liked it but probably my least fav of everything just because everything was SO GOOD
Chicken and Waffles: The STAR of the show (although arguably the Rosemary focaccia was the co-star). So much flavor! The fried chicken was very flavorful and perfectly crispy. The waffles were everything they needed to be. And combined with the maple butter… next level!
Dulce de Leche Cake: The grand finale and it did not disappoint! So moist. The perfect balance of cake and filling and dulce de leche with a thin, soft chocolate top and hazelnuts on the side.
12/10 – I am absolutely obsessed and my only regret is that we didn’t go sooner.
TLDR; this place is life changing. Be sure to try the focaccia and the chicken and waffles (and dulce de leche cake).

Wow, what an experience! I came here with my parents to celebrate my dad’s birthday. They do not follow a gf diet (I do) but they absolutely loved all of the food! We ordered a spread: arugula salad, cucumber salad, mini corn dogs, fish and chips, crab cakes, turkey meatballs, AND churros to take home. Everything was 10/10. And on top of the delicious food, we loved the ambiance! The back patio was cozy and quaint and the perfect setting for a birthday dinner. We’re not big wine drinkers, so can’t speak to the wine selection. It’s on the smaller side, so definitely recommend making a reservation. Staff was friendly and made the experience all the more enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back!

Whilst heavily billed a gluten free restaurant this place is anything but one dimensional. You transition from a busy road, through to a fab out back courtyard. With nice lighting, French music and a chilled oasis. The food is divine, the wine is great and there is real pride in the food and service. Some of the best food in town.
