I had 2 chili rellenos rice and beans with flour tortillas. The chips were ok. The salsa tasted more like shrimp cocktail sauce with chili mixed in. The chili rellenos were ok, they could have done a better job on them. They never removed the seeds from the chili’s before adding the cheese,which by authentic Mexican standards makes them dirty( lazy chili rellenos). The rice was on the dry side and the beans seemed like day old. The food however was hot and so was the plate. So hot that my wife almost got burned just to move her plate a little. The waitress apologized and said she forgot to mention the plate was hot.

Okay food, reasonably priced.
Their tortillas appear homemade and they were delicious! I had a combination plate with a chilli relleno, cheese enchilada and a taco. My plate was, unfortunately, filled with a pool of oil and grease… I’m not sure from what. The food overall was tasty, however a bit low on quality. I was happy to finish my plate, it wasn’t bad by any means… but seemed to be what you would expect from a small town and somewhat slow business.
I would eat here again!

Very authentic. When you walk in you sit yourselves wherever you like. The food is very tasty the best in town. I’ve tried all other Mexican places in brawley and this place tops them all. The rest are overrated. Great fish tacos great shrimp cocktails great ceviche and they make a pretty good chavela

Since the restaurant move from the East side to the west side of town the prices went up and the food got bad not only that they advertise Coors Original Banquet beer inside the restaurant “But” they don’t sell Coors Original Banquet beer they only have that Queers light beer, and all the light beers, butt wipe. Miller light. And that other gay beer Michelob Ultra.

Excellent place to eat from, good food, decent atmosphere, price is average, only ‘con’ is that you have to pay for salsa, beans, or anything you want to add to the tacos.
