I miss Annapolis and Eastport. The Leeward Market was outstanding. To me it’s the jewel of Eastport!
I enjoyed two breakfasts
with friends. Coffee with a
Bagel, cream cheese and Lox was superb. I got two slices of the Smith Island cake to-go as my souvenir treat!
Thank so much for delightful breakfasts!

We stopped by while antiquing and exploring historic Annapolis architecture and homes. Service was great. The lady was so patient since we forgot so many things. We had the chicken sandwich, pastrami sandwich, salad and crab soup. Food was okay, not great but not terrible. Would maybe try other places first before heading going back.

Leeward Market – looks like a house from the outside but inside is a nice, cozy and welcoming establishment. Has a variety of menu options . Ranging from breakfast platters, sandwiches and pizza. I bought a breakfast wrap and a homemade oatmeal rasin cookie. Breakfast wrap had hashbrowns inside and nice fluffy egg. Need to try it with the southwest sauce

Cute little cafe of the beaten path in Eastport. Stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee to go before the tug of war. Friendly staff, cute outdoor seating and bathrooms.

We found this in the Find Me Gluten Free app when looking for somewhere to get lunch on a Sunday. The people were so nice and they really understand gluten free. I had a tuna salad sandwich on Gluten Free bread, which was delicious. The bread was tasty and the tuna was definitely homemade and delicious. They also have a separate case with gluten free dessert items.

Very charming cute spot. Conveniently located with lots of seating inside and outside. Breakfast sandwiches were ready quickly and very tasty. I loved all of the support for other local businesses, authors, and creators around the store. It’s bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. All parking is on the street so be mindful you might have to walk depending on when you visit.

Visited for the first time, while in the area from TEXAS. At first impression, it looks really small from the outside. I had a rice and chicken soup, coffee and some dessert and it was all very good. We would come back, since the female behind the counter was friendly and we felt welcomed.

I’m not sure it’s possible to fully enumerate all the wonderful elements of Leeward Market.
This location is such a hub for community. Every time I come in, Michelle or Jeannie is having a deep, meaningful conversation with a regular (while taking orders and keeping the line moving, to boot). The place is teeming with local presence—there are books by local authors and pastries by local bakers all on display; it feels like a real salmagundi of Eastport. And I myself have been the beneficiary of Leeward Market’s support of local businesses; Michelle kindly allows me to keep cards for my pet care business near the dog treat station.
I’ve never felt rushed or unwelcome here, even though it can get quite hectic during morning and lunch rushes. And the food is always plated thoughtfully and thoroughly scrumptious! My favorites are the spinach salad and house bagel chips.
It’s a real gem of a spot, a beloved emblem of Eastport. I highly recommend anyone stop by if you want to feel warmly welcomed and fully satiated.
