Came for lunch on a Thursday without a booking. They were able to accommodate us but then it filled up. So definitely book. Everything was fantastic. All the food we had was delicious, the service was spot on and the view just stunning.

The place is beautiful, small in the sense that if the place got full it would be difficult to move around, too much seating.

The food for me was anything special real, I didn’t even take any photo of it. I got the baby chicken teriyaki and I had some rice. As I said it was suitable for eating but nothing out of this world for the price you pay.

Just think of it this way. You are paying 2x the price for everything here and the food doesn’t taste 2x great ‍♂️.

I just enjoyed being on the beach really.

SCAM ALERT — AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

I’m posting this so nobody else gets trapped like we did.

This restaurant intentionally designs their menu to trick you — pricing items per gram or hiding costs with vague wording like “€110 for two people.” It’s not confusion — it’s a scam playbook.

We ordered:
• Two tiny lobsters with pasta
• A sea bass with rice and cheesy corn
• One below-average kiwi margarita
• One basic non-alcoholic drink

Food tasted okay and the portions looked fine — you can see exactly what was served in the photos I took as the dishes hit the table. Nothing on that table looks remotely close to €446 worth of food.

Yet that’s the bill they dropped: €446.

We questioned it — the pricing structure is deliberately crafted to mislead people.

Then came the cherry on top:

Every restaurant we’ve been to in Saint Martin uses $1 USD = €1.
We’ve eaten at ten different places here — that’s the standard exchange.

Not this place.

They printed a new bill for $535 USD, meaning they run their own made-up exchange rate on top of their inflated pricing.

Absolutely shameless.

We paid and walked out, but I’m posting this as a warning:
Look at the photos — that’s what €446 / $535 buys you here.

If you enjoy being ripped off to finance someone’s yacht lifestyle while they laugh at tourists falling for their pricing scheme, then feel free to go.

For everyone else — avoid this place like the plague.

I will be filing complaints with authorities because this is predatory, misleading, and disgusting behavior.

⚠️ You’ve been warned.

The menu was a bit limited and way more pricey than I expected. We couldn’t get in the water because of all the seaweed. And I also told the hostess that we were there celebrating a birthday and I was expecting something special for my sister. But it never happened. Other than those couple of things, my family and I had a great time. Our waiter was fantastic, the food and drinks were delicious, and the views were still 10/10! And the live DJ was a nice touch.

We came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon for our friend’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The dining room on the beach is a whole vibe and the service was so fun.

The DJ was amazing and the music managed to be lively without being so loud that we couldn’t hear each other at the table. The food was fine/good but come here for the ambiance! We enjoyed the sashimi, the rolls, the pasta and the eggplant. Skip the Wagyu burger sliders and the Caesar salad.

We ordered bottle service for our friend’s birthday and the presentation was absolutely bonkers even for St. Barths. A true delight.

I wish i could rate my experience 0 stars!

Iwas extremely disappointed with my experience at Nao Beach during my recent visit to Saint Barts.

When we arrived, my partner and I ordered the following: a salad, one tropical fruit drink, one kiwi tequila drink, cheesy corn, a spinach salad, teriyaki chicken, and two cranberry juices. When our check arrived, items from another party we were dining with were incorrectly added to our bill. We politely explained that each group would be paying separately, which the waiter initially acknowledged without issue.

However, the revised bill we received was still significantly higher than it should have been. After calculating the total ourselves, it was clear that additional drinks and items we did not order were still included. We were also charged incorrectly when paying in U.S. dollars while the total was listed in euros, resulting in us being overcharged and paying more than $300 for items that were not ours.

When we attempted to calmly explain the discrepancy, the manager became extremely rude and repeatedly threatened to call the police if we did not pay immediately. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue respectfully, our concerns were dismissed, and staff members were unhelpful and at times ignored us, pretending not to understand English.

Additionally, the sanitation practices we witnessed were concerning. One bartender wet his hands and ran them through his hair behind the bar before continuing service without washing his hands afterward. Another staff member handled a dog and then prepared drinks without sanitizing her hands. This was very unsettling to observe.

This was my first time visiting Saint Barts, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. I hope management takes customer service, billing accuracy, and hygiene standards more seriously moving forward, as I would not return or recommend this establishment.

My experience at Nao Beach Club was extremely disappointing and honestly left a bad taste in my mouth.

When we first arrived, we were told they were completely booked. However, after my concierge called on our behalf, there was suddenly a table for six magically available. That interaction immediately made me feel uncomfortable and racially profiled. If you’re visiting St. Barths, be aware that most beach clubs require reservations — but the inconsistency in how availability was handled was concerning.

The service did not improve from there. The staff struggled to properly explain items on the menu and became visibly irritated when I asked questions. I do not eat meat or seafood, so it’s very important for me to understand ingredients before ordering. Instead of being helpful, I felt rushed and dismissed.

Our waiter was rude and snappy throughout the entire meal. While the food came out quickly, it was incredibly overpriced for what it was. Yes, St. Barths is expensive — but this felt excessive even by island standards. When the bill finally arrived there were upcharges and items added that we did not order. When we asked for corrections, the staff suddenly became avoidant and acted as though they didn’t understand English. It felt extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Double-check your bill carefully if you decide to go. I paid nearly $40 for a basic avocado salad, my personal bill was over $130 USD for one drink, a salad, and chips. The taste and presentation was mediocre at best and while the guest in my party ordered meat options they were extremely unpleased as well! Wagyu burgers extremely small, sized to feed a toddler and no special taste what so ever! Truly a waste and very disappointing ! We spent a lot as a group and for no one to have been pleased with quality of food or taste truly says alot!

And even worst than that… when you look around and see how other parties were treated you can clearly tell the white French people were a priority at service over others that they may have thought weren’t as rich or willing to spend. Again profiling…

Overall, I would not return and highly do not recommend it. The experience felt unwelcoming, overpriced, and poorly handled from start to finish. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Nao Beach Club in St Barths is beautiful, very upscale while also being relaxed and fun. The food was AMAZING everything we had was incredible and the service was top notch. The servers were so attentive and the owner/manager (not sure which) even cut up the massive fish for us.
