Plus the burgers needed tomato and pickles.
My sister‘s split the burger with a fried egg on it, and the egg looked perfectly cooked as well, the servers were super nice and checked on us a ton to make sure we were taken care of.
The garlic fries, sweet potato fries, seasoned fries, onion rings were all delicious! My nephew got corn dogs, and they were really good too. All these were bomb.com !
It wasn’t super busy when we got there and more people came in as we ate, but I definitely didn’t feel too crowded or loud.
My Dad’s burger was “dry and flavorless”.
The fries are definitely from a frozen bag.
We got garlic fries and both agreed, NO GARLIC WAS USED.
The booths are very uncomfortable with no padding but the over all atmosphere is pretty cool.
Last, not worth the price. To be blunt $18 plus tax for 1 hot dog and less than average fries with no drink is a hate crime!
When we walked in, we were told it was seat-yourself and to grab our own menus—no problem. We sat down, but then waited… and waited… and waited. It took 15 minutes before anyone came by to check in with us. Finally, we placed our order: fried pickles, a burger, carne asada fries, some extra sauce, and just waters.
It took another six minutes or so just to get water. And while I’ll admit I’m a bit of a water snob, this was hands-down the worst water I’ve ever had—completely undrinkable. There were maybe 20 people in the restaurant and it wasn’t busy at all, so the wait time didn’t make much sense.
We waited for our appetizer, only to see the table next to us—who came in after we did—receive theirs first. After 20 minutes, our appetizer finally arrived… at the same time as our entrees. Personally, when I order an appetizer, I expect it to come out before the main course.
We had asked for extra sauce, but it didn’t come. Understandable, that happens. We asked again, and were told it’d be brought right over. We also requested extra BBQ sauce for the burger, since the initial amount looked like a small squirt that covered only half the bun. Then we sat there and watched the servers stand around and chat while the sauces never arrived. Eventually, we had to flag down a different server—one who helped bring out our food but wasn’t even assigned to our table—just to ask again for the sauces. She ended up relaying the message to our actual server, and finally we got what we needed so we could start eating.
My boyfriend said the burger was actually good, and the fried pickles were solid. But I had the carne asada fries, and they looked like a toddler assembled them. The menu says you can choose either nacho cheese sauce or shredded cheese. Since I’m gluten-sensitive (not celiac), I opted for shredded cheese and asked for no pico. What I got was fries with a random squirt of sour cream in one corner, no visible shredded cheese at all, and a sad overall presentation.
I would also like to mention that the bartender? bar manager? had her back to the restaurant, I would say the whole time we were there, just fiddling with the TVs. I get that the Masters were on earlier & it looked like they were trying to put UFC on the TV but maybe manage the restaurant or look around to see if everything is running well?
I didn’t finish my food & the boyfriend only ate the burger since the fries were cold by the time the extra sauce came.
I really wanted to love this place, but the poor service, the long waits, and the disappointing food presentation made it really hard to enjoy. Here’s to hoping they tighten things up, because the potential is there—but our experience definitely missed the mark.
