Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This place either don’t have enough people working on shift or they just don’t b know how to run this establishment efficiently. Wait time in this drive-through in the a.m. is ridiculous. Pulled up to the window to nobody there in the window. I was waiting in the drive-through for literally 15 minutes for biscuit. And there was only one car ahead of me. And that vehicle was still waiting after I pulled off. Do better, please. Xoxo

Great place to grab some good food quickly. Most of the staff seem to have a good sense of customer service. They’ll mess up an order occasionally but are quick to correct it and get you on your way. There’s a particular manager here who is always on top of her game and keeps the staff focused. She looks like she’s trying to herd cats, but she does a good job of it.

IF I CAN GIVE NO STARS I WOULD. We went through the drive thru second lane and ordered three basic meals at 6:02pm. It took the girl 5 minutes just to cash us out. We were in line for 40minutes( the first car in line). We asked the carhop how much longer on the food. We watched 5 cars leave from the first line and we still haven’t received our food. She comes back and say she doesn’t know they looking for MEAT!!! We handed her the receipt and asked for a refund. She goes back in the building, comes back out to bring two other vehicles behind us their food(people who oredered after us). After she gives them their food, she comes back to our vehicle and said “well do you just want the food, when I walked in there they were bagging your food.” (Let me add she’s talking when her hands and attitude.) we say okay, we get our food and the fries are STALE, the avocado bacon burger as NO bacon, all the patties of meat where torn to pieces on both jr burger and kid meal. THE SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION IS RIDICULOUS AND I LEAVE 2 MINUTES FROM THIS LOCATION THERE NO REASON IT SHOULD’VE TAKEN 40 MINUTES TO GET BACK HOME AND THE FOOD WAS OLD AND STALE AND PREPARED INCORRECTLY AND WITHOUT ANY REGARDS TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAS TO EAT IT.

This is a fairly new Whataburger, the line wasn’t long, but the wait for two grill cheese sandwiches and one medium fry was an almost 10 minutes wait! With more than 8 workers it did took awhile. The food came out corrected and Genesis customer service was on point! I would go back.

Honestly, yes. This Whataburger is slow. And I hope it stays that way! My food is always HOT and FRESH!!!! Every. Single. TIME. They never forget anything out of my order, and my orders always tastes like the person took their time with my food. Yes, this is fast food, but I’ll always opt for this location over any others nearby. Please continue to be slow and please continue to serve great quality Whataburger. Also, the team is usually pretty cool too.
