This place is well with the diversion of the interstate.
The service was good. They served me one of the best salads I’ve ever had. The chicken fried steak was nothing short of phenomenal with really amazing sides to boot. My plate was clean when I was done. Can not recommend this place enough.

Small intimate place. Totally out of the way. Food is amazing, staff is personable, felt like having dinner at a friend’s house. But I can not stress how delicious their food is. The Bourbon Steak will make you think you’ve never had a good steak before. Everything is homemade from scratch. Even the salad dressing.

The food goes beyond delicious…well seasoned, quite palatable, well portioned and good variety. The wait staff is always friendly and continually monitors your table for your dining needs.
The owners do the cooking and heads up the wait staff. The facility is always clean with no obnoxious odors.
There is often karaoke on Friday’s or Saturdays. In the summer they bring in bands to play.
It is a family oriented place with no rowdiness going on as they also serve alcohol.
In summation this is a business that makes Merino a must stop for travelers and a.place for locals to gather and socialize.

We took the extra 10 min to find this place. Well Worth the drive. Excellent food, great service, fun at home atmosphere. So nice after traveling. Not super fast but that’s what we needed was a relaxng break
