My wife took me to Oliver’s on Saturday for a late lunch because we are always looking for new places to have birthday dinner with our family. The place is inviting and you don’t feel awkward when entering thinking it’s a bar. I was pleasantly surprised after entering, the vibe is a really nice pub that’s inviting and comfortable. The hostess/ bartender was a extremely nice woman who was a joy to speak with. Now let’s get to the food, very generous portions of some of the best pub food I have tasted and in my 66 years and I have tasted a lot. We are definitely having my birthday dinner here and will be returning on our own with friends. Colver should be very proud of Oliver’s, one would think it’s in a scary old coal town but Colver itself surprised us, it’s a nice little town. Take 422 and take the Colver road where all the coal trucks go, turn right at the stop sign then another right at the next stop sign and it takes you directly to Oliver’s, by the way the roads are all good, surprising for back roads. We will be returning often.

Today we took our birthday group to Oliver’s for a late lunch at 2pm. Even though we arrived before they opened they let us in early because it was hot outside and promptly seated us at 2 and took our drink order. Please forgive me if I get his name wrong but Jay was a excellent host and took our orders for what I think is some of the best meals in a 3 county area. If you want real food in a clean sit down restaurant for not much more than fast food, this is your place. This is my new favorite place to eat.

Our first visit and it was wonderful!! The atmosphere of the Pub is what makes the experience. Our waiter was very attentive. They serve Pepsi products and refills are free. Our food was delicious! I have zero complaints and we will be sure to go back. I love the location of the Pub and think it’s a great business for a small town. I highly recommend a visit!

As wing and Stromboli “snobs”, we were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the hand crafted food was at Oliver’s Pub. The wings were a sweet hot flavor that were meaty/juicy yet still crisp.
The Stromboli was light and yet full of crisp meaty deliciousness.
It’s easy to say that this place is a bit of a hidden gem. If you’re looking for an amazing date night, we highly recommend this place.

This is a new place we discovered in the area we wanted to give a try for something different. The bartender was also our server, which was fine. Shortly after, he took our order and another table (party of 7) his cooks walked out. He was now the only one working. He did an excellent job. The food still came out quickly-considering the circumstances. Same thing for the other table. Started getting busier once the food came, so we did have to wait a bit for refills, but we understood. I can’t remember his name, but Kudos to him for great service under tremendous pressure. It’s love to come back and try their specials. We came fairly late, so we just ordered off regular memu.

Pleasant experience… bartender was so nice and had a sense of humor. Something I thoroughly enjoy when going out. Food was great and even though they were working with a limited staff the service was great! Absolutely a place I will add to my favorite spots list Also, had a special request and they had no problem doing it for me!

Had a 10 person group of coworkers. Outstanding, friendly waitress. I had a steak n cheese sub n fries. Excellent roll. Wife had a steak salad that was very good and a nice size but steak was to be medium but was well done. Sampled some of the wings which were nice n crispy n tasty. A nice place.
