I just celebrated my birthday here yesterday and REALLY enjoyed the whole experience. The service was amazing. I can’t remember our servers name but she was so just so great truly! There was a group of 5 of us and we all had a great time and really enjoyed our vodka pasta. The caesar salad was so freaking good as well as the truffle fries! I’d definitely return and recommend:)

Had a wonderful time here with my friend! We went for one of their combo nights and we both really enjoyed everything we had. They take standard dishes and elevate them to be something special. The Caesar salad, for example, has grilled lettuce. My only qualm is that it’s very loud. They’ve opted for an industrial chic vibe, which looks great, but means there’s nothing to dampen the sound of people around you or the music.

I absolutely love this place!!! This is now my third time coming and each time I am impressed with the consistency with the food, drinks, and staff. MC was an amazing server and even made me a special drink just based off of what I like. If you have a girls night or a special occasion or even in the mood for a different atmosphere in Pittsburgh, I highly highly recommend this restaurant.

My group had the butternut squash rigatoni with chicken x 2, the truffle fries, and the grilled Caesar salad. The food was sooo good! I loved the sage aioli that came with the fries. Fries were a touch too salty but still delish. The cocktails were also fantastic- we had dirty martinis, pumpkin espresso martinis, and a gin drink.
While the food & drinks were great, the service was reaallly slow (they were both busy and not busy while there). Like 15 minute lag to get your drink while sitting at the bar. Bartenders were very friendly and clearly took time to make quality cocktails. We just had to be prepared to get our orders in as soon as they came over and to spend a little extra time there.

Didn’t have a reservation but found 2 seats at the bar.
Bartender was really nice while watching and listening to her making the drinks – you can tell she knew how to throw down – they smelled so good.
Of course, I got the espresso martini, and we split the truffle fries and burrata – SO good. ( took the pic after we went in on it)
I got the salmon over risotto – the cook on the salmon was perfect, and the risotto paired so well.
Can’t wait to go back!

We LOVED Emerson’s! Such a cute vibe inside! Highly encourage reservations! We made reservations and still had about a 15 minute wait. They do have a cute bar area if you want to pop in for a drink! The crab cakes and Emerson’s burger were incredible! I really enjoyed the burger with the secret sauce! Truffle fries…need I say more? Tons of fun drinks and food options! Make sure to ask them to dim the lights-that is the only “complaint” we had before asking as it was SO BRIGHT at 9pm at night! Otherwise, they delivered. Awesome service, great food, 10/10!

Great restaurant with a very homey, city-apartment feel. The ambience was warm with beautiful lighting, and the service was kind and attentive. The food was wonderful. Our party ordered the Caesar salad, truffle fries, and penne alla vodka, and everything was delicious. Would come again and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful dinner on our “staycation babymoon” here and couldn’t be happier! The food was excellent, and our server was so sweet and attentive. At the end of the dinner, she gifted us a gift card celebrating our baby, and we were so touched. We will absolutely be coming back often now when we venture downtown!!

Emerson’s was the perfect date night. Smaller, intimate, with a romantic feel throughout. The wine menu was extensive and I was shocked at the pricing. So affordable for downtown. The menu has something for everyone and the portions are huge. The penne could have been 3 meals. The prices were fantastic for the quality and size. Will absolutely come back again and again.
