This is my new breakfast/brunch spot. Claremont Village Eatery specializes in breakfast and lunch, leaning into creative takes on classics. Blueberry Lemon Zest Mascarpone Pancakes — often cited as a must‑try for their balance of tartness, sweetness, and fluffy texture. Avocado Toast — usually praised for freshness and presentation. Breakfast Burrito / Rhino Burrito — hearty, filling, and reliably ordered by regulars. Sandwiches (e.g. Blackberry Brie Sandwich, Dancin’ Chicken Panini, roast beef sandwich) — these showcase the café’s willingness to play with flavor combinations (sweet, savory, creamy) though reviews mention that sometimes the balance leans a bit heavy on cheese or bread versus protein. Seasonal / creative specials — things like “Pumpkin Mousse Brioche French Toast” have been spotlighted by diners as delicious indulgences. You have to try the Loch… mmmmmm so good and big

Claremont Village Eatery is delish! I’ve only ever gotten the breakfast burritos, but will be sure to try other things in the future.
Today, we got the Claremont Loop Burrito (no onion) and the Rhino Burrito. Both were great, and big enough to save half for lunch. Service was simple but kind. Inside the restaurant isn’t too crowded, plenty of room to move around, and nice air flow.

Also, huge shout out for their chairs. They seem really thoughtfully chosen. Although they look like they might be the standard uncomfortable metal stacking chairs so many restaurants have these days, they are a nice size, don’t cut into your hips, and they slide in and out really nicely (no loud metal screech!) It seems like such a simple thing, but being able to sit comfortably while you eat your meal is so nice!

I’ve also catered a large order of their breakfast burritos for my work and they were a hit! Definitely a great option if you need a hearty breakfast before a big event.

Came from the SFV to have breakfast with my old boss. We walked to the Claremont Village Eatery and the meal was delightful. So much food! I had the Lemon-Blueberry pancakes and she had one of the delicious breakfast sandwiches. I had my left-over pancakes for dinner. Other co-workers and I will be back in the Spring for another visit and breakfast.

The Claremont Village Eatery offers a cozy spot for a quick lunch, but my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. Located conveniently in Claremont Village, it’s a small restaurant where you order at the counter and have your food brought to you.

I decided to try the harvest salad and the tuna melt. Unfortunately, the salad was initially served very plain, missing essential fixings, bread, and oil. However, the manager promptly addressed this, bringing the missing items during our meal. Once complete, the salad was quite good. The tuna melt was decent, but it came without any sides, which felt underwhelming for the price.

While the food quality was satisfactory, the portions did not justify the cost, making it a pricier option for a quick lunch. Despite these hiccups, the staff was courteous and responsive, which I appreciated.

Overall, The Claremont Village Eatery has potential, but there is room for improvement in terms of portion sizes and initial attention to detail. I might consider giving it another try in the future, but for now, it’s not at the top of my list.

This new place in the Claremont Village is great! They serve breakfast and lunch options. The staff was really friendly when I went in and the meal was made within just a few minutes. I ordered a Vegged-Out sandwich, chips, and some white chocolate, macadamia nut cookies to go.

The sandwich comes with a cute, little muffin too. It was a really good meal with the hot sandwich filled with lots of grilled veggies, cheese, and greens along with the other stuff I got.

I’m a vegetarian so am happy to always a new go-to place in the Village. They even have lots of vegan meal options too!

The place has a lot of natural light with a big window in the front and the layout is really pleasing. It’s rare to find places to grab a quick meal to go that actually has breakfast options in the afternoon! I’ll keep going back and try their breakfast items next!

My sister in law and myself wanted to try this place since before the doors opened, and now I finally did! I ordered a Vegan sandwich that had eggplant that was grilled. Super good! It smelled fantastic as I came to the door, and even the employees were excellent at explaining and helping me understanding the menu. They absolutely accommodate plant based lifestyle, another thing that blew me away was that they made Jamaica. The sandwich was absolutely dynamite and I have absolutely nothing negative about their food or establishment. Also, a huge win is everything is compostable and biodegradable. I absolutely recommend this place for a quick bite.

Got the saddest excuse of a “deconstructed” avocado toast, with cheap bread and so much grilled cheese it didn’t fit into the plate. Stingy with the avocado too.
My partner got a breakfast burrito, VERY oily and bland.
Service is fine, they scream at you to give you your food
Coffee is okay!
Overall a disappointment, especially with the price that comes with it.

Pleasantly surprised. This is a gem. Food is great. Prices are totally reasonable. Chill vibes. Only downside is the non-compostable utensils and water cups.
