On 2/1/26 my wife and I ordered some food from here. I ordered the shrimp basket and 2 steak and cheese egg rolls. My wife ordered a half fish sub and fries plus 2 steak and cheese rolls. In total we spent $40 for the nastiest I can’t even say it was steak nor cheese but I tell you don’t buy it. I’m very upset because I had my heart set on them. Plus I live in Va and this is the place that had the egg roll steak and cheese on their menu. I asked the lady at the window for some tartar sauce. She hits the bag and said inside I looked and seen it was cartel sauce. I said no you can keep that and you can give a tartar sauce so she did and gave me one. I asked for another one and she looked at me all crazy. I asked how much for one more she replied 0.75 cents. It’s sad that spent $40 and couldn’t get another tartar sauce and that egg what ever that nastiest thing was roll.

First of all this place has been ripping me off for years. The lady at the counter whom I assume is the owner is literally ripping everyone off when they purchase food there. She includes tax on each item brought and an extra $1 to every item brought. I’ve been paying $17.95 for years for a large shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp until one Friday night in December 2025 when the original lady was not there and I ordered the exact same thing a large shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp and the guy said $13.95 I couldn’t believe it. I went back again ordered the same thing a large shrimp fried rice with jumbo shrimp and the lady was there and much to my surprise she charged me $17.95 I said naw not this time and I pointed to the guy whom charged me the $13.95 and said he only charged me $13.95 and she turnt flushed in the face. So long story short unless you just want to give them your money I suggest that you make sure that you are being charged the correct amount and being taxed just once otherwise that store is going to continue to profit off of us illegally. For the record I have a video with her saying that she doesn’t know how to calculate the taxes therefore she incorporates what she feels that what she wants to be placed as tax on an item that’s what she does. For example if a fish sandwich is $6.55 she would key in on her calculator $6.95 so therefore you’re paying .30 tax for that sandwich then you might order a shrimp basket at $11.30 she would key in on her calculator $11.95 which is .65 you get the point. She’s ripping us off like crazy with an extremely bad attitude while in the process. I used to say I go because I really like the food but forget that not anymore. I simply refuse to patronize a business that not only rip me off but don’t have no respect for my kind of people or my community. They are only here to make money and a lot of it from us daily but at the end of the day they don’t have any respect for us, our community and then stealing our money right in our faces and getting away with it day after day year after year? I say no more…. Shut them down. They can’t eat if WE don’t feed them. They say Forget US I say Forget THEM!!!!! Why keep them rich when they treat us like crap. Kick them out of our community and let’s show them who’s really in CHARGE!!! You guys with me?

Cooks seemed busy, though the food was fairly ordinary and indeed excessively salty to my taste. Skimpy on shrimp dishes. Menu board is disintegrating and the waiting area is cold and noisy.

The steak and cheese was excellent!!! The shrimp lo mein was good too nothing to write home about, the shrimp could’ve been bigger but the flavor was good but overall they get 5 stars just for the steak and cheese alone!! This is the place to come for a good steak and cheese!!

The food was ok but the service was nice the old lady at the register was very rude would even let me buy ice. Just shook her head no and rolled her eyes. The atmosphere is very old you can tell they have been there for a long time they still have all the menus up from when I came 20 years ago

On 09/26/2025 I placed an order for pick up. Went to pick the order up and went home, the order was wrong. I called to let the lady know I was bringing it back and she was very argumentative. I brought the order back for my food to be remade. I sat in the store to watch them make my food and the cooks used their bare hands to touch everything. The cook was rubbing and wiping his hands on his dirty clothing, face and hair. They are unsanitary. They don’t wash their hands and no gloves were used. I simply asked for a refund and she tried so hard not to give it back. But I did receive my money back. Only eat here at your own risk!!!!!!

The food is great the service is even greater, I love the lady at the window she has such a sweet spirit and she is why I keep coming back and I always tip because of her. If you’re looking for a good steak and cheese, chicken wings, cheese burger sub, or fries they are your go to Carryout. I haven’t really ordered their Chinese Food so I can’t really elaborate on that however the American dishes, they nailed it❤️ ♀️

Super disappointed! Today was a cheat day and I craved my old faithful 6 wings and fries. Once the best jumbo sauce now favored water, fries not fresh, and my chicken fried hard taste like it had been refried for the 4th time today. Everything about this meal was disguising and now I have the it’s baddd Never going back!!!
