I am writing to formally report an issue I experienced today.
Earlier this afternoon, I ordered a burrito and nachos from your location. I gave the burrito to a friend and began eating the nachos. Immediately upon taking a bite, I noticed that the pinto beans in the nachos were spoiled.
The beans had an abnormally sour taste, and even before eating, there was a strong sour smell that was clearly noticeable. This was not normal food quality by any standard.
I called the store right away to report the issue. Unfortunately, the phone conversation was extremely difficult due to the language barrier. While I was trying to explain that the pinto beans were spoiled, the staff repeatedly talked about chicken, which was completely unrelated to the problem. This made it very hard to clearly communicate a serious food safety concern.
Eventually, I brought the food back to the store and received a refund.
My main concern now is food safety. I sincerely hope that the spoiled pinto beans were properly discarded and replaced with fresh ones. Someone else may unknowingly consume them and end up with severe stomach pain or food poisoning.
Please ensure better food quality checks and clearer communication going forward. Situations like this should not happen.
