I love Popeyes but this location left me a little disappointed. Pretty decent service, however chicken was drier than I’ve had previously, and very bland. Was not offered a spicier version. Feel like it wasn’t very fresh. Biscuit was great as always.

I am very sorry to leave a 1-star review, but after waiting more than 30 minutes for a very simple drive-thru order, having two items missing from my receipt, and discovering that the apple pie was moldy, I cannot overlook this experience. As a food-service business owner myself, I fully understand the challenges that come with this industry. However, when staff or management know that drive-thru orders will take unusually long, customers should be informed upfront.
Missing paid-for items, combined with a serious health hazard like moldy food, reflect concerning lapses in quality control and customer care. This puts customers at risk and damages trust. For the time we waited, we could have gone to a dine-in restaurant and received fresh food much quicker.
I hope management addresses these issues promptly for the safety and satisfaction of future customers.

Went and got the classic chicken sandwich combo. Ordering was easy and didn’t wait too long for my food, which was a great thing. I got back to my office and was surprised about my sandwich. I had co workers even ask about the sandwich. It was a nice size piece of chicken (bigger than the bun) and it was juicy and tasty. The sandwich was bigger than any other place selling chicken sandwiches. I will definitely go back for this combo. Worth every penny I paid.

To start, I am disabled. I had a stroke and that impaired My speech back in 2020. I also have limited use of my right side. My mother and I ordered at the drive thru at around 4:30pm on 11/10/2025. We went to order and the store was out of sole slaw to start. We were told there would be a wait on the shrimp which is fine but that wait took over 10 minutes. I realized I paid $8.79 for shrimp which is really expensive. So after waiting for a long time I went inside. I asked to speak with the manager who told us to pull ahead and wait. She was busy so couldn’t come to help. I asked for a refund on the shrimp. The employee who was working the front counter said that there are no refunds and that is ok but there is nothing in the establishment that tells anyone that rule. Also, a wait for 10 mins on shrimp and no refunds is unfair to any consumer. That should be apparent and obvious for the consumer. She also then told me I was then waiting for Apple Pies. I was never told that ahead of time or while waiting in the car for my order. Another manager arrived to start her shift. She was a black female with short silver hair. She was asked by the front employee that was speaking with me to talk to me. I didn’t appreciate her attitude or tone or sarcasm. To say that “you would have to wait at a restaurant 30-45 mins for food and they deserve the same respect” is a little stretch. She went on to say that I could have cold shrimp but I was told wasn’t told that I would be waiting or Apple Pies or I wouldn’t have ordered them. Se said she wasn’t here for the order and I said I am aware which is why I wanted to speak with the manager that told me I would be waiting. I guess this a store manager? Totally unsure. She needs to be trained on how to deal with ALL types guests concerns and show more compassion with them. Don’t talk down to them because you think you can or you think no one is watching. I was a real restaurant manger, not fast food before my stroke and we were trained on dealing with the guests and providing the needs for them. I don’t expect much because it is just Popeye’s but at the end of the day, it is fast food.
Popeye’s is fast food food, not a restaurant. After being talked down to and watching the staff celebrate the manager standing up for the crew that was rude against a disabled guest, I asked for my mother to come in and assist me. My mother came in and she was totally different. There was a point where she was loud and my mother even told her to calm down. It was all about the communication which we had an issue with but being treated in such a way was uncalled for. At that point, our order was ready but wrong and they didn’t large make it large and let out a side item.
I will NOT return to this Popeye’s and will be telling others about my experience. I hope this gets you attention but the store needs undercover boss or something to check the employees and manager. Do better for your future guests please.

Ive sat here for over 40 minutes.. This is not the first, second or third time either. You’d think they were raising the chickens back there too. This is crazy. Im on a doordash order that I only get 5$ for.
Edit its been 50 minutes in still here.
Edit 1 hour and they didnt even start my second door dash order so I canceled it.

Waited an hour for a family meal and the food was still cold, not happy about anything I ordered and they left off an order of wings, I won’t be ordering here anymore. I’m just tired of the long waits, food either barely cooked or already cold, no utensils or napkins and no sauces whatsoever. I just feel like I didn’t get what I paid for and I’m not usually one to complain but it’s ridiculous at this point. I had to warm up all my food when I received it. I’m even thinking about selling off my $20 voucher, that’s how much I never want to go back to this particular Popeyes.

I live approx. 15 miles from this establishment. I went in the store and ordered family meal with an extra large side. Price was nearly $40. Upon arriving at home my wife opened up the containers to find them half full. Photo is added. If an establishment can’t afford to fill its containers of product that only cost them pickles to the dollars you pay for. then they need to shut their doors.

The service is always so slow, the people are always so rude and they always ask me to come in!! If I’m going through a drive thru it’s because I don’t want to go in, I’m not dressed to go in or I’m in a hurry. Even better if you ask them anything they lose their minds on you. This has to be the absolute worst location. Most of the time I drive an extra 25 minutes to get better service in Chesapeake.

Went in there this evening about 5 and had a pretty big order, the 2 ladies behind the counter were absolutely amazing (I just wish I had gotten their names) even though we were a bit complicated. There was another lady and gentleman making the food and everything was so good. Hands down best experience at Popeyes! Thank you so much ❤️
