I visited this place again. I ordered a kung po chicken. It was just okay.
The person at the register was different than before. No communication issues at all.
The place is very nicely decorated and very clean.
Portion size is a little small but the price is also a little below normal market rate.
I tried the wonton soup and it was good
Original review:
I wanted to try a new Chinese place so I stopped by this place. The place is pretty small. It is very clean. Most of his business is takeout. They do have some people that eat in. The person at the register spoke very softly so it was difficult to hear what she was saying.
I ordered a lunch combo chicken with mixed vegetables and hot and sour soup. Portion size was pretty small. Hot and sour soup was not spicy at all.
The employees were very nice and attentive.
Overall this place was just okay but I will visit this place again because I want to explore different items on the menu.
I will update my review the next time I visit this place.
Dumplings also tasted like nothing and the sesame chicken was 50% pieces of fried breading covered in sauce. Wonton soup contained wontons that were doughy/tacky, so probably raw. I would have eaten tastier food and saved money had I purchased frozen and cooked it at home.
First and last time ordering from here. Would not recommend. Sushi Moto on the other side of town blows this place out of the water.
Got Rice on Okeechobee Boulevard was the only good Chinese restaurant, but unfortunately, the owner sold and word had it that the new owners food was awful as was the service.
I happened to be in the shopping plaza on Lake Worth Rd. and 441 and saw a restaurant named Rice so I walked in and discovered it was the previous owner of the one on Okeechobee Boulevard.
The food is great and I’ve never had a bad meal ever. The owner and staff are fantastic and the new restaurant is spacious, clean and comfortable.
