Amazing food and excellent drinks! Very reasonably priced! If you order food at the bar, make sure to check on it. Our bartender never put in our appetizer and it didn’t come out until we were already ready to leave and move to the next bar. Had to rush to eat it because we just wanted something heavy and greasy to continue drinking. He was very apologetic about it, but the bartenders were mostly just walking around as everyone was definitely taken care of and just enjoying the vibes and the music.
The music was great! There are plenty of photo spots in this bar. Also, there’s games and a decent sized area to dance. The bouncers at the door were very friendly. Overall, would go there again for sure! I just know next time to make sure to check that our food order was placed!

Absolutely love it here! Bartender suggested smoked turkey burnt ends for an app and what an awesome suggestion it was! Fried pickle chips too! Games, music, bar, good food, can’t beat it!

Agree with previous poster. Try it for yourself. Came down from central jersey. Had a blast. Our bartender Christian was great. Food was quick and hot. It’s less Nashville and more country themed bar but fun.

Have been to the place on numerous occasions. The food is good, as well as the service. Happy hour is the best on the island. The bartenders are so attentive and make sure you have drink at all times. Town, Mario and Christina were my bartenders last time I was there and they were fabulous. Highly recommend!! Oh yeah, and order the Jolene and orange crush for happy hour. They are amazing!!!

I saw the negative 1 star reviews, but I decided to be my own judge, and I’m glad I did! This place was great 🙂 atmosphere- very nice, rustic, good country music playing. I sat at the bar, and Alexis the bartender was awesome! Very attentive, kept my drinks coming when needed, and very sweet 🙂 Recommended the chicken and waffles, and they were great! Waffles crisp and just enough sweet, cornbread was very good too
Only down point is the bar stools are slightly uncomfortable. But that is hardly a big detractor in the wake of so many positives:-)
So far, a very good start to my vacation

Stopped by the Honkytonk bar in Wildwood around 2 o’clock on a quiet afternoon, and I’ve got to say, it’s got potential. The place itself is beautiful—rustic charm with a hint of something more modern, and it’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into the design. But there’s something off, like a song that’s just a bit out of tune.
The bar was nearly empty when I arrived, which wasn’t a surprise given the time. I settled in, ordered a couple of beers, and some cheese curds. The curds were pretty tasty, and the price was fair, especially considering they’ve got daily specials, which was a pleasant surprise. But the service… well, it was slow, even with plenty of staff on hand. My waitress was friendly, though, which made the wait bearable.
What really got me were the barstools. Metal, uncomfortable, and not something you can lean back in without regretting it. They had a couple of leather sofas that looked like they could be perfect for a lazy afternoon, but those were roped off for VIPs. A bit of a letdown, honestly.
I liked the open kitchen, but it felt like the guys back there were more interested in chatting with each other than getting food out. Maybe it’s just the newness of the place—growing pains and all that. With a bit of investment in some comfortable seating and a focus on tightening up the service, this place could really hit its stride. For now, though, it’s a mixed bag—good, but with room to grow. I’m glad it’s here, and I’ll be back, hoping for the best.
