Great first impression. Little disappointed with the limited selection of bagels available, but we understood. Food was hot & fresh when we received it. The bagels were soft and delicious. We got two “The Standards” – one with pork roll on Rosemary Olive oil bagel & turkey bacon on Egg Salted bagel. We were impressed with the neatness of their sandwiches. The mocha iced coffee & caramel iced latte were smooth coffees to have with our sandwiches. Prices comparable to other gourmet bagel spots: $9 ish for bagel & $7 for coffees. Overall pleased and will be returning.

Jimmy is an incredible running this location. Anastasia was wonderful. They both gave us wonderful recommendations, were patient , and welcoming. They were busy this morning with mobile orders and still took the time to go over the menu, new items, favorite items. I really love this location and the people who work here. Their pumpkin spice syrup that they use is smooth and delicious. Not artificial tasting like some other places. Rosemary Olive oil bagels were a recommendation and they are delicious. We’ve heard from friends that the Zatar chicken salad is very tasty. The inside is really cute and was very clean. I really admire Jimmy’s work ethic and commitment and will be returning. Another shout out to Anastasia . I am visiting from Boston and will be returning every time I come to visit my family who lives here in New Jersey. Come and visit for great staff, Montreal style tasty bagels, and very lovely experience.

The place is very clean and well decorated, the service was fine. The price is outrageous for what I ordered which was a LOX Bagel for $14. I can get behind the salmon being the pricey part but when I received the bagel it was no cream cheese on one side and just a package of salmon slices on a toasted bagel not even any onions or anything. Very disappointing, first and last time coming here which stinks because I really wanted to like it.
Update: bagel was stale and the salmon did not taste fresh. I’d never had a bad bagel in NJ until today.

Stopped in for an impromptu breakfast; instant regret. Overpriced, pretentious and bland. The Philly Special was dry, chewy and flavorless, the salted caramel coffee tasted bitter, the chai latte tasted like bland spiced hot water and the prices? Yikes! More expensive than Starbucks with sadly a quarter of the flavor. On a positive
note, the staff was pleasant and the asthetic was nice. My spouse said his BLT was decent. Overall, we won’t be returning.

Stopped at the Cherry Hill location because my daughter loves their Nova Salmon. I decided to try them out. I figured I’d get the Avocado Toast on a sesame bagel. I felt this was a safe choice and you can’t go wrong with avocado toast, right?! Boy was I wrong ! When I came home, I opened up a container that wasn’t what I expected. The avocado spread was chunky & dark indicating it wasn’t fresh. It was bland and lacked flavor. The bagel tasted like 3 day old bagel. They topped it off with red pepper flakes, huge halved cherry tomatoes and drenched the toast with olive oil. I was annoyed that I spent $9 and was not able to enjoy this. My daughter wasn’t too pleased with her Nova Salmon bagel. She said it didn’t have that many salmon pieces in it and it was just ok. I spent about $16 on these bagels and we weren’t pleased the least bit. I should’ve stayed with my decision to not order but glad I didn’t as I won’t be returning to Spread Bagelry. This spot was underwhelming and not what I expected!

What a Joke – Worst Bagel I’ve Ever Had
I’m honestly shocked this place has good reviews because my experience at Spread Bakery was horrendous. I ordered what was supposed to be a classic bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese—how hard is that to get right? Apparently, for Spread, it’s impossible.
First off, the bagel was stale. Not “sat-out-for-a-bit” stale—rock hard, like it had been sitting in a paper bag since yesterday morning. The cream cheese? Barely there and so poorly spread I thought it was a prank. It was globbed on in one corner and completely missing in others. Ever heard of a knife?
And the salmon? Not even smoked. Just straight up raw, slimy, and fishy in the worst way. It tasted like someone just pulled it out of a package and slapped it on the bagel without a second thought. Absolutely disgusting.
This place has no business calling itself a bakery or a café. Do yourself a favor and skip it—unless you like wasting money on inedible, disappointing messes.

This was my 4th time or some at this particular Spread. I was hoping for a nice breakfast before hitting Costco. Most of the times have been solid. This time it went south.
I ordered the Standard, which is your standard BEC on a bagel. Fairly straightforward.
I got my bagel and opened the wrapper and things were looking a little thin. I dug in more to research. There was a total of 1 (one) piece of bacon on the sandwich. There was some cheese and I had added Tomatoes and Spinach. The spinach was not able to be fouind by sight but I did see one or 2 pieces while eating. I got a 1 slick of tomato for the add-on. If you are keeping track, that’s $0.50 for al slice of tomato. And .50 for the spinach that I had to hunt for.
All in all it was quite a disappointment. $17.00 for a BEC and a water.
A single bagel is $2.25, so that means I paid an additional $9 for 1 piece of bacon, some cheese and one tomato. Seems a it steep. Next time, if there is one, I will prob stick to a bagel with CC and avoid the randomness of what the chef decided to put into your breakfast.
The indoor dining is bizarre too. There is one long community table but you can’t access the back side of other people are sitting there.

I’ve been ordering bagels from this location since they opened several years ago. My favorite: rosemary olive oil bagel. The sandwiches are always full of fresh ingredients: lots of egg and cheese. The coffee is on point. And the cream cheese is like homemade. But the best part is the staff who make you feel like family. The manager is always on the floor and is helpful. Karen is a delight and remembered me even before I became a regular. I wish there was a bit more seating, but the location is small. These premium bagels are worth it.

Spread has become my favorite way to start the day. The food is absolutely delicious but what has me coming back so often is the Staff. They take the time to learn your name, they have my coffee order down before I say a word and truly make you feel like family. That love and care I feel is always poured into my food as well. Impeccable management and the warmest staff and most delicious bagels that are truly tailored to your taste and requests. I haven’t seen Lloyd around in a few days who is the Gem of spread which is sad and hope I can see him again soon as he completes the spread family!!! As long as this staff is here I will be a returning customer always!!! Thank you guys!!
