Very enjoyable, bustling during happy hour. Definitely OC-vibing social hour at its peak. If you like to drink wine, good wine, thoughtful wine, go here.
The automated wine dispenser allows for self-service, and trying many different wines, in pours of different sizes. The smallest size is definitely a ‘taste’, but sufficient for those trying to decide what to get, or who are small drinkers. We favoured the French and Spanish wines here, but the California wines, which made up the majority of the top-level wines, were good, and good quality, too.

HOW IT WORKS : Pay up front a certain amount, get a card, use the card on the automated wine dispenser, and refill the card as needed. It’s like a pre-paid debit card.

There’s also a massive, lovely by-the-bottle selection.
Charcuterie plates, pizza-like flatbreads, olives, etc, also available to order. Seating outside or inside (louder).

Chill and classy at the same time.

Excellent service and wines to try! Great view on the patio of the lake too. They have overhead heaters and provide blankets for cooler days. Happy hour is 30% off tastings which I think is a great deal. They offer charcuterie boards and flatbreads too and everything we ordered was delicious. Will definitely return.

What a beautiful spot on the lake! The wine tasting was amazing, but it was the Spicy Brie Flat bread and the Olive Tapenade that stole the show along with their friendly, socially distant staff! You expect a place on the lake to have exceptional service. The Hidden Vine went above and beyond, which was greatly appreciated on the hottest day of the summer so far!

Super awesome spot our friends took us to! Self service wine and your choice of cheese and meats to create your own charcuterie board! The back patio view has an amazing view at sunset. We could’ve stayed there for hours! Definitely will be back!

A very nice little shop with a nicr patio overlooking the Lake. You can come on for a swirl or a glass of your favourite wineb or find something you never tried before. Have a snack of cheese, smoked meat and olives to taste your new found wine with. Self dispense as much or as little wine that you want. A very relaxed atmosphere.

Unjust Gratuity Policy – Large Groups, Beware

We came here as a large group, excited for a fun and different experience. We knew there was an automatic 18% gratuity and were more than happy to pay that (or more!) for the food or drinks we were actually served. But being forced to pay that same gratuity on self-serve wine—wine we poured ourselves, with zero service involved—is outrageous.

We specifically asked to pay separately for our wine cards, a completely reasonable request since there was no staff involvement whatsoever. No one explained anything, offered suggestions, or provided service of any kind related to the wine. But the restaurant flat-out refused, insisted we pay on one bill, and tacked on 18% to the entire total—including the drinks we fetched, poured, and carried ourselves.

And the “service”? Food handed over with disposable plates, and plastic knives. Water we got ourselves from a dispenser. That’s it. We weren’t even given forks.

What makes this worse is that as a large group, we were bringing significant business into their establishment—and instead of being appreciated, we were boxed into a rigid, unjust policy that clearly has nothing to do with actual service and everything to do with squeezing every last dollar out of guests.

If you’re going to build your business around a self-service model, don’t hide behind a mandatory service charge and pretend it’s justified. It’s a cash grab, and we felt completely taken advantage of.

Large groups, beware: if you’re expecting helpfulness, flexibility, or fairness, you won’t find it here. Charging a full-service tip for a self-service experience is absurd, and this place has lost our business for good.

Really nice place, love the patio! The serve yourself wine station is pretty fun. Great selections of various wines to pour a taste, half glass or full glass. 4-6 Tuesday-Sunday and all day Monday is happy hour, so it’s 30% off wines in the machines. Their charcuterie boards are great.. wish I could get a jar of the ancho chili jam that comes on it!
