I am SO HAPPY to find a restaurant in VA Beach that does not use seed oils!! Everything is cooked in butter and 100% olive oil, and NOT over-salted; i.e., you can eat here and feel nourished and energized, not bloated and sluggish. (Speaking as a nutritionist, it is *supremely* hard to find somewhere to eat that has these qualities.) So PLEASE keep up this level of food quality and we will eat here every time we are in VA beach!
The view was great, service was good, and everything we ordered was fabulous — Teriyaki Steak bites, Oysters Rockefeller (so fresh, with scallions), Fish Tacos, house salad (ask for the honey lime dressing it is VERY fresh and tangy) and Jamaican Jerk Chicken.
Food took a little long (maybe 45 min) but seeing the quality of food we were happy to wait for that. Also, the key lime pie is to die for!
Even the soap in the bathroom (Mrs Meyers) supported a healthy living theme. 😉 (Although it was hard to figure out how to turn on the faucet- literally my only complaint lol.)

We had a great time dining here! The atmosphere was great and we were so happy with the price and quality of the food. Most places at the oceanfront are overpriced and the food quality doesn’t match the price. But not at Lucy’s!! The black and blue burger and crab cake were delicious!! The only negative was our server Taryn wasn’t really friendly at all. The bartender came to our table to talk about our drinks, the busboy was really friendly, but our server really seemed frustrated to be working that night. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely come back!!

Great spot and Congratulations to Abbey Road on the upgrade. Let me tell you a local story…Neat Bird in Chesapeake didn’t have a TV service when they opened but the Samsung TVs had a Bob Ross stream embedded…they played this for opening. Once they got set up with TV service they started showing sports…customers still wanted Bob Ross…That is why Bob Ross streams at Neat Bird….Why do I say this?? Because that TV behind Lucy’s bar should show nothing but Beatles songs and interview. My bartender, Jill was great.
