Food was great but service was terrible. Could not get a mild sauce on the Kung Pao Tofu. Counter person just kept pointing at menu saying spicy. The only rang up half the order. No receipt to know it wasn’t complete. Had to wait additional 15 minutes for rest of order. No complimentary water for eating in. Had to buy a bottle of Poland Spring

Today I ordered take out & was okay. Disappointed by the taste and quality. The egg roll was just cabbage had no taste. The general chicken had a lot of tendon throughout the meat. The rice was supposed to be pork fried rice not sure why it’s just brown rice. Not sure if I would recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely the worst Chinese we’ve ever had and we gave them a 2nd chance. We’ve tried dozens of Chinese places in various states and have never found a place so awful. Their beef is squishy and undercooked, honestly doesn’t taste like beef. Pork fried rice is plain instant rice, it is not even long grain and definitely not jasmine or basmati. Egg rolls are stuffed with cabbage only and has no green tone in sight. Their sauces are runny and watered down. Do yourself a favor and drive to Utica if you want decent food.

We ordered 2 meals. The shrimp w/ broccoli was very poor. No sauce or flavor. The rice tasted old, the broccoli was boiled and the 6-7 small shrimp were tasteless. The shrimp lo mein was no better. It had no veg’s & was tasteless too. The veg. egg rolls had nothing but cabbage. Would not order there again.

This was our go to place….not anymore. We did a carryout order- Rice tasted like burnt oil, they forgot the sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken, egg foo young was some of the best I’ve had years ago, not anymore, disappointed. We won’t be returning. Too many other recommendations for better in the area. This place has declined over the years.

As a native Chinese speaker who goes to Colgate and constantly craves the taste of home, Main Moon is the place I go every weekend to treat myself. I recommend the Singapore Mei Fun or the House Special Lo Mein, and pair with fried dumplings for the best homy vibes.
