I honestly won’t be ordering from this location again. I order ahead because it’s on my way to work, and I always pay for extra add-ins—like chia seeds in my smoothies or extra strawberries in my bowls. Do they ever get added? No. I let it slide the first 2–3 times, but at this point it’s an ongoing issue. Why am I paying extra for items I never receive?
What’s funny is that when I ask for things to be removed, they manage to do that every time. But adding what I actually pay for? Apparently not. On top of that, it’s a 50/50 chance whether the food or drinks even taste good or just have no flavor at all.
At this point, I’ll just go to the Jamba Juice across the parking lot.
***UPDATE***
I drank the flavorless smoothie for a bit, and eventually had to throw it away. I am feeling extremely nauseous. Definitely a waste of money.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. When did it become okay not to greet customers? Came by in the morning. Zero customers, 1 moody employee. I said good morning, got nothing. I proceeded to order an egg and sausage quesadilla, but they were “out of sausage”. A breakfast spot out of sausage at 7:45 a.m.! I ordered a smoothiee instead, ?but what I really wanted to do was leave. This young lady needs training or better choices in jobs that require an ounce of hospitality. NEVER coming here again.

Last night I went in and ordered a turkey bacon ranch but I asked for no lettuce and no tomato. I checked it before I left and it did have everything on it so I let the girl that works there know and she at first argued with me and then she said “fine I’ll remake it” then throws the original one away aggressively and walks to the back. She was so extremely rude, worst customer service I’ve ever had! It’s sad because I love this place but I will not go back if they have people like her working there!

Worst service of any place I’ve ever been to. The single employee told us she hadn’t cut up any fruit yet but she could do the crunch bowl. Then almost 10 minutes later she says she can’t do any bowls because she hasn’t cut up fruit. She was unprofessional and slightly rude with her agitated mood. She then brought out the person who came in after us his order, which he returned because it was wrong. She also looked at us like we were crazy when we asked if she had smoothies after telling us she had no cut up fruit. Looks like there are not enough employees for the early part of the day. Arrived at 7:25, order taken at 7:47 and food didn’t arrive until , making us late for our next appointment. Just looked at my receipt and she added a $5.75 tip for herself without my permission. Goodbye Tropical Smoothie Cafe , you lost a regular costumer today.

I shared a similar experience with another review. Opening employee was very unfriendly. She had no interest in doing her job. Spoke under her breath as I had to ask numerous times, “I’m sorry, what was that?”. Apparently it wasn’t a bad day, seems to be her usual attitude.

I’m literally here right now and they took like 2-3 minutes to acknowledge me and when she did not friendly at all and it took them another 10-15 minutes to take an order which was just a smoothie when giving me the smother again no acknowledgment placed on counter and walked away. To say the least I’ve never experienced such disgusting service! I shop this location frequently, only because I work nearby it’s usually quick & easy! I have noticed over the past several months employees have lost their touch of professionalism & sense of self care. They look as if they just rolled out of bed, the girls need to wear longer shorts! Lol I walked in today and it took at least 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me, another 2-3 minutes for anyone to finally take my order. I could immediately see and feel the stress from the 2 girls working. Both looked overworked and I could hear them complaining about a water leak in the kitchen area, also where I witnessed a large knife on the floor that nobody would pick up, they stepped right over it. I kindly asked one girl how long my drink would take to make as time had already passed and I was running late for work now. She told me she didn’t know because they had too many mobile orders. So I assumed walk ins weren’t important. While waiting I witnessed a few customers upset because their orders were incorrect and the store was out of ingredients. 3-4 minutes passed and I asked again, the other girl rudely says “we’re busy and I don’t know”. I told her that her service was unacceptable and she was rude and she continued to argue with me. I asked her for a refund and she told me they don’t give refunds. I asked for a managers phone number and she said they only have email. I was then harassed by a young man who was waiting for his order who advised I leave and he opened the door. Lol that became another unnecessary argument! So I left with no drink and no refund. I emailed their customer service email that was provided when I called. CSR refused to give me a name of a manager. After reading past reviews I will never return. Looks like this place lacks a good manager! Service is horrible and their survey discounts suck! Buy a $12 sandwich get a smoothie for $1.99. How about a punch card buy 10 get one for $1.99 this store has faithful customers! Fix the problem Management!
PS- the response from management will be a careless apology and “please leave us a review on how we can make this better”
Seems to be the answer to all reviews but nothing changes. Shut the doors if you can’t see this location is not up to par with service!

I honestly won’t come back at this location again. My wife ordered one smoothie and it took them about 10 minutes to even make it. Several other people who were in front of us ordered and half of their orders were either missing or they didn’t bother to tell them that they didn’t have the ingredients to make it. Before I knew this I had ordered my smoothie and have waited about 15 minutes and they haven’t even started it yet the girl in the front was just sitting at the registered on her phone for about 5 minutes. There’s one young kid in the back actually doing his job working hard so I commend him but the girl wasn’t really doing anything and the guy had to stop what he was doing to take orders once the girl went in the back, and continue making orders. Very slow service, several people had to wait 5 plus minutes to even be acknowledged. They either need to hire more people or have people who are motivated to do their job not sit there on their phone at the register and help other coworkers. 22 minutes and still no smoothie….
