My wife and I stopped in for dinner at The Pending Pour based on the recommendation of friends. I had not heard much about this restaurant other than that they have good food, so I wasn’t expecting anything in particular other than that.
The parking availability is very limited, but my wife and I found a parking spot when we arrived.
My first impression when we walked in is that this is a sports bar. I noticed that much of the furniture appears lightly used, which is understandable for a new restaurant just getting started. But all of the bench seats where my wife and I first started to sit noticeably needed cleaned. We found a cleaner spot to sit on some pub chairs.
We were given a friendly greeting by our server who quickly took our drink order. I had ice water and my wife had a Diet Coke. Our server did a great job during our entire visit. making us feel welcome, answering our questions, and taking great care of us.
I would describe their menu selections and their prices as somewhat elevated. We spent a little over $70 including tip for the two of us. My wife and I got a house salad, the brussels sprouts appetizer, crab mac, char grilled chicken and Parmesan potatoes. The house salad was good. The brussels sprouts were good. The crab mac was very tasty. The char grilled chicken and Parm potatoes were cooked well, but they were a little bland and under seasoned.
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our visit at The Pending Pour and it was good enough to give them another try.

Absolutely love this place! I’ve yet to have a bad meal or cocktail here and I go at least twice a week. Its great for an intimate date night or for a group outing with friends. The owners are usually there and you can tell they tke pride in their business. The servers are fantastic, the head bartender Kiley is charismatic, beautiful, and hands down makes the best cocktails in Kokomo. This place should not be missed!

Easily one of the best local restaurants. The BluePrint burger is your regular hamburger with the standard toppings, but where this wins is that all the toppings were very fresh and crisp and it came together for the perfect bite. Seems simple but is sometimes hard to execute. And the included house chips are the perfect accompaniment. Definitely try the perfectly balanced Spicy Prick or Expresso Martini. Neither will disappoint.

Kiley Jo, Chloe, and Austin were the bartenders/servers my night and the banter, sarcasm, pure wit of these three combined makes for a pleasurable experience. Plenty of tv’s, a ticker board, bar space and plenty of tables make for a wide array of seating options. Great place, and great overall experience.

We had an amazing time at The Pending Pour! The atmosphere is relaxed but lively — the kind of place that makes you want to stay awhile. The food was delicious, the drinks were top-notch, and the staff made the whole experience even better with their friendly, attentive service.
You have to try the Black Raz-Arita — it’s incredible! Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and easily one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time.
