Usually good but disappointing today. I walked into the restaurant and placed a to go order for one pizza and one sandwich at 11:04 AM. I was the first person in line and the number of customers in the restaurant was lower than many weekday lunch hour vista that I’ve had. Forty (40) minutes later, I received my order but it was incomplete and I had to return to the counter. Food quality was okay but the long wait and incomplete order were very inconvenient.

Went in today after lunch hours. After driving to and leaving another restaurant without be waited on, I decided to drive to basils as it is closer to my home. I’m not going to lie I didn’t enter with the best attitude (call it hangry) but from the cashiers to other customers, I left satisfied both in my spirit and in my stomach. The service was quick and efficient. Even when I couldn’t remember the panini I usually get (ham basil cream cheese with the Roma tomatoes) she walked me through it. Good service goes a long way. Thanks again for getting me out of my midday slump!

During my BRIEF time in Flowood, I craved pizza. I planned to try Basil’s in Fondren but ended up ordering delivery from Basil’s in Flowood instead.
I chose a gluten-free veggie pizza
( The Fondren ) with extra mushrooms and onions. It was tasty and crispy, though I wished for more topping options.
