Look Lobster, (formerly Quoddy Bay Lobster) is a destination eatery that serves traditional cuisine of Downeast, Maine. Besides our hit-the-spot bites, at our wharf you are likely to see fishermen delivering their catch and purchasing supplies for the next journey out. Since 1910, the Looks have passed this laboring tradition through five generations. The business has grown along the Maine coast with wharf sites in Jonesport, Addison, Eastport and Portland. We hope you enjoy the comfort foods that have sustained the families of our coastal communities for generations. Enjoy your meal!

Best lobster rolls in Maine that we have ever had. Can watch them bring your lobster fresh off the pier. Blueberry pie was delicious as well. Outdoor seating. Bring a sweater as it may be cold from the wind off the sea.

We found this place while searching for a lobster dinner for my son while riding through on motorcycles. The service was good and the food was delicious. We enjoyed sitting out by the water and watching the fishing boats and ships passing by. My son got his lobster dinner and I enjoyed some fresh Haddock. Highly recommended. Oh, and don’t miss their blueberry pie !

Was in the Eastport area for a couple of days. I came across this place tucked away down by the docks. They do wholesale and they have a concession stand doing cooked Lobster and Lobster rolls. The Boiled Lobster are sold by the pound. I had 2 2lber’s. All I can say. They were really good. They have tables in a covered area, or in the open by the water. Get there early. They’re only open till 5pm on weekdays. Friday’s till 6pm. Very friendly & good service.

The haddock sandwich was unbelievably delicious! It came with coleslaw, a pickle spear and chips.
The chicken salad was also a delicious option for those that do not like seafood.
Support this local family in their new endeavor. They surely have made a great first impression!

It said they were open (online), on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025, so we drove almost an hour each way from Lubec, Maine (and burned $20 worth of gasoline), to get one of their (Highly Regarded) Lobster Rolls. We arrived at 1:30 PM and it was closed. A man on a fork-lift at the building next door said: “He’s all closed up.” Then I believe he said: “He Might be open Sunday.” …but I wasn’t 100% sure on that, so call.

Was just there yesterday evening with my wife we both got one and they were great. Before finding look lobster I went to the Canary and waited for a hour for a waitress and one never showed up so me and my wife left and looked on Google maps and could not find much other then the happy crab. When we got there we quickly realized it was closed but there was this long flag outside behind their building that said open so obviously curiosity killed the cat we went to explore and found look lobster the staff was very friendly and answered every question the food come out great and let me tell you they make a good Maine blueberry pie and good Maine Whoopi pies. Did I mention the selection of seafood caught fresh and sold daily. I would give them five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ the hidden gem on the water fresh off the water.
