2023- lunch time!
Angel Pizza and bar.
You can see in my pictures that the gluten- free pizza does not look appetizing. I did not get a receipt so I’m thinking it was around $14. It was very dry with almost no sauce and essentially no cheese. The bottom was not completely cooked .i got sick that evening.
My friend loved her mini pizza but you can see a large amount of cheese on hers, why hers and none on mine? Shd paid extra for two toppings, pepper and onions .
There is a picture of the prices!
A lot of men where there at lunch getting mostly subs! So that must be good.
The bar side was not clean and not welcoming. You had to order from the other side and go back to see if it was ready . I think it’s more for the to go customers . They were busy..

Generally just not satisfied. Ordered a large pastrami sub after having to go through two other options that this place didn’t have the ingredients for for the pizza items on their menu.
For being listed under the “hot subs” the pastrami sub overall was cold. The cheese just looks tossed on as an afterthought and barely was melted at all. Topping selections were very limited, not having thousand island dressing or sauerkraut. Biting into the sub you’d think maybe the amount of pastrami they use for a small sub was just spread out across the large.
The woman at the counter never asked for topping preferences either. Which at first made me believe the sub came only one way until the chef himself thankfully came out front to ask.
As far as the chicken tender salad went it was good looking and the chicken tender were cooked just fine.
If I try this place again maybe I’ll just stick to a cheese pizza.

I was really hoping to love this place because its so conveniently located, but the food was awful. I got a chicken cutlet sandwich but every bite of chicken had some sort of tendon in it so I gave up trying to eat it half way through.
I threw out the kids meal entirely because I didn’t feel good giving it to my toddler. The chicken nuggets had some odd green tint to them(not sure the lighting in the photos showed). The breading on the nuggets looked like it had been sitting in deep freeze for years and over fried to compensate for it.
The delivery took an hour from when it was ordered, which isn’t too bad? Not great though. And prices were a bit high for sandwiches and a kids meal.
I know this sounds very critical but honestly I am trying to think of anything positive to share and I’m coming up empty.

The food has a real authentic flavor that reminds me of home cooking. I’ve had the Chicken broccoli ziti Alfredo and it’s amazing. Pizza is awesome. Price is very reasonable as well. Great way to please the crowd. Getting a few family platters.

Let it go the first time. Ordered pizza WELL DONE and comes cooked the same as everyone else’s. They pile too much on the pizza and it just floats across the top. Can’t even enjoy it looking like this. Pick it up, everything literally slides off , and then your stuck eating dough, and chicken and cheese with a fork. Nice people. But just doesn’t make sense ? Sorry. The TASTE is there! The execution is poor.

How about cleaning the seating area? Tables are a mess, room dark, no lights on and it was cold inside. The floor hasn’t been swept in forever it looks like! Maybe it is just a takeout place but still should never ever have a room look like that! Pizza ok, fresh veggies were good, a little too much sauce for my liking! I’d recommend buy a good broom, sweep and clean the floors and tables! Or don’t and close the side room to customers and just do take out! That room is not a clean spot to eat and enjoy a pizza! There was a staff person sitting in there and she left for the kitchen but why oh why did you not notice the dirty floor and dirty tables and get on it and clean them!

Ordered chicken parm and received a sandwich with next to zero sauce (at MOST a teaspoon on whole sandwich). Tried talking to them and got SCREAMED at over the phone. Even the chicken is awful. I think it’s just starting to spoil. Will never go there again and I’m making sure my friends and family know how awful they are. Customer service and basic cooking skills are not a part of their business plan

I understand that weekend nights are busy especially delivery’s, I walked in & ordered a steak n cheese sub. After waiting 25 minutes I was asked what I had ordered after another 10 minutes of watching the young men joking/laughing.. everything except cooking I was handed a sub. No apologies for the wait time not even a smile with a friendly have a good evening. To be fair my wife said the sub was good but I will be ordering elsewhere in the future.
