I got the quesabirria plate with agua de jamaica. The plate comes with 4 quesabirria, consomé, rice and beans. It well packed with cheese and meat the flavor is perfect for the quesabirria consomé and salsas. The agua de jamaica was too sweet for me but it was good in flavor.
They also told me they will be having tamales regular and sweet starting tomorrow or next week from now on

I was very disappointed that they served their ramen in a styrofoam cup. It took a lot of the magic away from the food. That being said… it was absolutely delicious.

The food was excellent! The kids loved the nachos.
We got the #9 pastrami, pepperoni, and salami sandwich with the works. It was really good and filling.
We also got The Austin- it had such good flavors! The roasted jalapeño was a nice spicy addition.

Wow! This is a phenomenal deli!! The sandwiches were so flavorful, with a burst of yummy-ness in every bite! The Caesar salad was so unique tasting and filled with avocado, sprouts, onions, etc.

A (perhaps unexpected) word about fruit:
After being on the road for several days we were craving some fresh produce, and the menu indicated you could buy a small or large order of fruit. We asked for a large fruit and thought it would be a few bites for each of us (family of 4). Nope! It was approximately one metric ton of fresh pineapple, watermelon, mango, jicama, honeydew, and cantaloupe. They gave us tajin and chamoy for it. We all ate quite a bit from it and then still had some leftovers we toted around the state in our cooler. The mango was some of the juiciest and most flavorful I’ve ever had.

This was the best sandwich shop I’ve ever eaten in my entire life fresh homemade bread and awesome salads fresh deli meat and veggies on it.it is a must try if going through Carlsbad New Mexico will definitely be visiting again when I am in the area I would recommend this for anyone

DELICIOUS !! I live in Ruidoso, I go to all the cities in a 300 mile radius. I have missed great deli food since leaving DFW. I am always trying delis. Portions are huge. This is the best I have found yet, no question. And they have super fast wifi.

#SoSoCarlsbad Salad Freshness ham and turkey so good, and is so welcome on this side, also the Philly Cheese Steak was filling and tasted great I savored it for 20 min. It’s such a well styled place that feels cave like airy and cool, my fave was there is a drive thru pickup window. Open late too for our side of town. No regrets I’ll be back. And fresh baked cookies, I got a that feeling they got big things still coming.
