Haven’t visited this place in years but decided to pop in for a bite during the football game.. looks like the place hasn’t changed at all which is neither good nor bad, it has a cozy type feel to it.

I’d say it’s above average bar food, and the Guinness wasn’t bad.. but the price is very expensive for what you get. I know it’s T&C and rent is prob high, but $18 for a buff chicken sandwich with nothing on it and $9 for a 16oz pint of Guinness is criminal.

There was also some strange obnoxious noise the whole time like one of the speakers had a loose wire or their air duct broke. Idk I was pretty disappointed and likely wouldn’t consider Mike Duffy’s again.

Nice place. Charlie seated us. Michael waited on us. At the end of our time there, a big group needed his attention, but all was good, as it was a super nice evening to dine on the patio. Food was good, as expected. Less expensive that unexpected, but portions were fine for the price. Good job Duffy’s!

This place seems to have gone downhill. Used to be a regular stop, but crossing it off our list now. We had a fiasco of a visit the other day. We ordered a regular burger and a veggie burger. When the veggie burger came, it looked like a beef patty. I inquired with the waitress and she said. ‘Well, I put in for a veggie burger”. She was reluctant to take it back, but did take it back to the kitchen. She came back in a while and said that I was right it was a beef patty, and they are remaking the veggie burger. No apologies from her though. It took forever, and the other person was completely finished with their meal before the veggie burger came out. When they brought out the veggie burger, it was hard and overcooked on the edges. She also failed to bring the lettuce, tomato, and pickle that I requested, and I had to ask for that again. Regular burger was just so so – nothing special. Not a lot of flavor. When the bill came, she charged us for a more expensive bison burger instead of a veggie burger. I pointed this out to her and she said she’d change it. Strangest thing about this whole thing that there was never an apology from her for anything, and we were given no credit at all on our bill. The young waitress didn’t seem to have any customer service training. We’re crossing this place off of our list.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! The food is spectacular. The environment is welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They have a beautiful outdoor seating too. The portions are large and they deliver!! I love their large pieces of salmon they put on my salad when I request it. I’ve never had a bad experience and if they forget something – they will always make it right! Want a family-friendly environment? You must check this place out!! You won’t be sorry!!

Upon arrival at Mike Duffy’s I was greeted and seated by friendly wait staff immediately, menus were given and drink orders were taken immediately upon being seated. The atmosphere was that of an average family pub and grill, with plenty of seating, including; bar, front dining, backroom dining, and patio seating. I ordered the Louisiana chicken with fries, chili, and reuben with onion rings. The Louisiana chicken was nicely breaded and covered in a sweet buttery very mild sauce; it had a great taste, but didn’t live up to the name Louisiana, as the tang of vinegar base in a Louisiana sauce didn’t come through, and the fries were average. The chili was a bean and beef based offering, it was tangy, sweet, and thick, exactly what one would expect from a mid-west chili offering. The reuben had salty, tangy, and sweet elements, a little too sweet for my taste, the salty corned beef flavor didn’t really shine with this reuben. Overall the experience at Mike Duffy’s was average for a pub and grill. The highlight of the experience, was the light, yet crunchy onion rings.

Since there are 3 categories for rating, I’ll break it down by those:
Food: it is pub food, so not a ton of variety, but as far as burgers go, they have the best one I have ever had that I didn’t pull off a smoker myself. The food is simple, but CONSISTENT. That’s important to me. (I have been here dozens of times over 3 yrs before writing this) if I find a dish I like, I expect to be able to come back and order it again and not be thrown off. Mike Duffy’s in Chesterfield CRUSHES this aspect.
Service: Never had a complaint here ever. I am almost always a patio person, but the one time I sat at the bar, and it was packed, still had amazing service, even ordering food to go.
Atmosphere: There are typically sports games on, and music playing pretty quietly. Never too loud or disruptive as far as I have noticed. I will say, this next bit is personal conjecture- I grew up in a small town, and as a traveler, I look for places that feel like “home” to me, but are still kind to “outsiders.” This place is that for me. It makes me feel close to home while still having incredible food and service standards.

Good comfort food. Wide selection of sandwiches and salads. Great chili. Especially enjoy the turkey club which is huge and grilled chicken sandwiches. Always great service if you’re looking for a quick meal.

We ate there (yesterday) on a Tuesday night. I had seen a post online that said kids eat free at the Town and Country Mike Duffy’s on Tuesdays, so I called them at 3:30pm to see if they were still doing the special. The woman who answered the phone told me that kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays after 4:00pm with the purchase of an adult entree.

We came around 5:30, and ate. The food was decent, even if it wasn’t great. But, when we got the bill, my kids’ pizzas were on there at full price. Our waiter told me that they didn’t do that special anymore, and offered to get me the manager.

When the manager came to our table, he condescendingly told me that they hadn’t offered that special in at least 2 years. When I told him that I called the restaurant that afternoon to check, he told me that I must have called the Kirkwood location. I pulled out my phone, and showed him my call history, asking if the number I called was the correct number. He confirmed it was and said that it didn’t matter what I was told. I was told wrong and there was nothing he could do about it.

After I reiterated that someone who worked at his restaurant told me that same day that the special was still in effect, he said he told me he was going to make a call and disappeared for a few minutes. He returned and once again said it didn’t matter what I had been told over the phone (and insisted once more that I must have called the wrong location even though I had already showed him the correct number I had dialed). He insisted that since they had printed new menus, and the special wasn’t on this menu, there was nothing he could do.

Any manager with a half ounce of customer service would have comped the kids’ meals anyway because of their employee’s mistake. The free kids’ meals on Tuesdays was the only reason we went to the restaurant in the first place.

After multiple rounds of back and forth, we decided that the extra money wasn’t worth the headache, paid, and left. I wouldn’t go back and eat there if I were offered a year’s worth of free meals.

I met a friend of mine there for lunch and it was crowded but we were able to get a table immediately. Our server was Austin and he was attentive enough but not overly so. Our food came out quickly and tasted great.
