Chorro Valley Regulators are one of the class acts in SASS or Cowboy Action Shooting in California and in the Western United States. Their annual/Western Regional Championship in August is one of the most attended SASS matches on the west coast, regularly getting 300+ shooters every year. The club is well run, the venue is beautiful with green valleys and volcanic peaks in the distance, and the ocean only a few miles away, the weather is a wonderful change from the normal California heat in August.
