The best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. Who knew it would taste so good with onion rings on top. The choice of elote corn for a side was a real bonus!

This family-run restaurant welcomes you with open arms. The menu is broad, the service excellent, and the kitchen delivers amazing taste! We had the Cuban sandwich, the Bocadillo de Salmon bang bang, and the Vietnamese salad. Each one delicious. The added cocktails and beers made this an unforgettable experience

Love this place. So friendly and kind. And the food, amazing. The fried chicken was on point. Just like my Aunt Edith used to make.

Great service.

They didn’t have Ruben that I came for so I had Vietnamese salad. Nice ingredients. The shrimp were very tasty (seemed Cajun style) and added to salad.

Adrianna was my server and she was very helpful. Answered all of my questions and was very pleasant.

Bonus was that Adrianna knew more about the local festivals than even the tourist information office did. She gave me great tips for an upcoming festival (times and best place to view)

Overall a great experience!!

We had a great breakfast in this cute little restaurant. The chilaquiles were really good – and so much food and the English muffin breakfast Sandwhich was fantastic. I don’t know where the sausage patty came from but it looked and tasted home made. I loved the thin sliced potato side that came with it.

The menu looks great and we have to go back for biscuits and gravy on the weekend and so many other things.

The service was very friendly and so helpful. Our server let me practice my Spanish (which will never be as good as her English)

English speaking staff made everything easy. Spacious seating, great menu. The upper patio is beautiful but it’s not always open. The patio is somewhat hidden – ask to go up. Good prices for what you get.

We moved to SMA a couple weeks ago and have been doing lots of dining out. With a recommendation from a long-time local and a hankering for some comfort food, we decided to come here on our way to the brewery/tap room around the corner…we were not disappointed. My BLT was stuffed with the perfect amount of B and had the freshest L & T! And the onion rings…HOLY. COW. So crunchy and delicious. My fella had the Cuban sandwich and it looked SO GOOD…he said it was the best pork he had had in a long while. We are looking forward to returning.

Really amazing food and atmosphere. Could not get over the chicken salad sandwich, and the beer battered onion rings. Oh, and I don’t want to forget the macaroni and cheese. The place to eat in San Antonio neighborhood.

We had a great Sunday lunch here. Keli the owner was so friendly and funny, and their food was def the all American classic we so craved. I had country fried steak platter (with biscuit and gravy, home fries, eggs, and fried onion rings), and my husband got pork chops with fries and coleslaw (that was so yum!). We were so full but still ordered a slice of Reeses peanut butter cheesecake to share.
Highly recommended!!
