Reviews
This location is easily the worst Wawa within a 10-mile radius. The store is frequently dirty, the food is often not fresh, and orders are routinely prepared sloppily despite an ordering system that clearly spells everything out. Attention to detail is consistently lacking.
What’s also baffling is how often this location is out of basic items. You can go right down the street to another Wawa and find everything fully stocked, with employees who appear far more confident and engaged. That points to a supply chain, inventory management, or basic operational competency issue at this store—or a combination of all three.
After discovering the incorrect order, I had to drive 10 miles back to have it fixed. While the manager did replace the food, he refused to issue a refund, telling me to “request it in the app or call corporate.” There was zero accountability or ownership taken at the store level—just a dismissive “have a nice day.”
Mistakes happen, and I understand that. But repeated mistakes reflect poor training, weak oversight, and a lack of care. My money matters. This is not a cheap store, and if you want to charge premium convenience-store prices, you need to treat customers with respect and get orders right.
The environment only adds to the frustration. Customers are often difficult, the store feels chaotic, and the parking lot is a dangerous racetrack, with near-accidents happening far too often.
I don’t understand the obsession with Wawa in general—it’s gas-station food, and at this location it’s marginal at best. Based on my experiences and the consistent themes in other reviews, this appears to be an ongoing competency and management problem, not a one-time issue.
This store needs serious improvement in cleanliness, inventory control, employee training, and management accountability. I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this location again.
Save yourself trouble and just go to the store.
Inserted foot in mouth as their machined caffeine was absolutely delish!? It’s a little overly sweet for my liking but hey, beggars can’t be choosey!
