Made a reservation and was greeted by a miserable hostess in the dark, as the lights in the entry were off. She was adamant about having a reservation to everyone who was walking in. We received three almost incoherent phone calls telling us to arrive early to our reservation. And lastly a text message saying to be early. We arrived 25 mins. Before our reservation. The hostess continually reminding people that reservations only currently will be seated. She then met a party of 8 that walked in with a NO reservation and sat them and gave them a window of 1 hour to sit and eat and go. We get skipped over and continue to wait in the no lights lobby, along with no heat on in the building and told we would be seated closer to our reservation, meanwhile there is at least 10 empty tables. It was about 30
Degrees outside and inside the building was about 55 degrees, my 81 year old mom enjoy her birthday brunch with her winter coat on. The miserable host remained miserable the entire visit with her long drawn out looks at everyone walking in and using the food heaters in the kitchen to warm her hands. Thank god for our awesome waitress, she saved the Google rating for this place, she was great. Cheerful, welcoming and had knowledge of everything on the menu. Food was great, atmosphere was cold as a wet cave and the hostess was a dark Sith Lord in Star Wars community, absolutely miserable person. You may need to make an adjustment on who the welcoming person and face of your establishment is at the beginning…you can read my review of other places and I’m very fair to companies in the area, this poor review was worth my post, for us it’s a one and done, there are far superior places in the area that are welcoming of our hard earned money.

Barrel & Bacon is a solid spot in Seattle. The food was really good—well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. Service was great from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both casual dining and a relaxed night out. Big bonus points for the parking—plenty of space, which is rare and appreciated in Seattle.
Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out. I’d happily come back.

Incredible experience. Really well made drinks, very well made food. It is obviously that a lot of pride goes into this place. Had the b&b burger was very well paired with the sinful tots and garlic aioli. The ube chicken and waffle was delicious. The Rawlings sandwich with truffle fries was balanced and flavorful. And the French toast to finish dessert oof… there’s a reason it has a reputation. Drove 20 minutes to try and was left full and still wanting more. Will be back, will be recommending to all my friends.

Came here around 10:45 on a Sunday. I recommend they have a better system for waiting. I came first and about 10 people came in shortly after with no solid line. The waiter asked me to come up first and after we put our names in. The people behind us called us entitled and rude but I was just doing what we were told. Left a sour taste on our experience.
We got the ube French toast and the silly belly. Service was nice resturant was dark. Food was plenty and very flavorful. Very unique taste, I highly recommend and would come back.

Solid spot in Interlake. Went on a Sunday around 11:30am. Had to wait ~30 min for 2 people. So not bad, though had to sit at the bar.
Mimosa was solid. Burger delicious. Tots were an upgrade (standard dish comes with salad). They dusted ranch seasoning on top of the tots adding a nice flavoring.
Omelette came with 2 side corn tortillas. Quite decent too.

They were extremely accommodating when we walked in on a Sunday of a holiday week at 11 am with a large group and no reservation, including three children! We knew it was a huge ask but they managed to seat us quickly, get our orders, drinks and food out quickly, etc, and were very kind the whole time. They provided lots of suggestions and recommendations off their menu. The whole family, including the kids (!) thought the food was delicious. A few standouts were the Sinful Tots, ube chicken and waffle, the burger, the mochi pancakes, and honestly the side salad. They also accomodated dietary restrictions in our party. There is plenty of parking, and the inside was lovely and cozy. We would love to come back again for brunch or for dinner! Even my mom was impressed, which is saying something. The prices were very reasonable to me, especially because the portions were generous. This might be a new yearly holiday tradition for our family, and I promise we will call ahead for a reservation next time. Thanks so much to the whole team at Barrel & Bacon!

This place is fantastic!! The kitchen is a little small so making reservations will make for a better experience for you, your guests and the restaurant staff. Everything we’ve eaten here has been top notch. Such a balanced but complex flavor profile in each bite! The owners, Gary and Roxanne, are lovely and truly put so much care into every detail. The atmosphere spoke so directly to my millennial heart, (I know it’s cliche, but sue me) classic movies and music abound! It’s cozy and we will definitely be going back.

What a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were greeted and supported by their wonderful staff. We sat on the patio for happy hour/ a light dinner then moved inside to the bar for another cocktail after we ate. The service was great, food was absolutely delicious & the cocktails are top notch! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into what they have created. They have amazing glassware, the space is so clean and aesthetically pleasing and their service is wonderful. Bonus points for their large FREE parking lot! Barrel and Bacon is a wonderful addition to Seattle!

Great little spot for brunch! For beverages, they offer a diverse mix of cocktails, mocktails, beer & wine. All the plates of food going by looked so delicious, so it was difficult to choose. I settled on the breakfast Mac n cheese and could not have been more pleased–creamy cheese sauce, salty ham strips, crunchy hash browns, and a lovely fried egg with crispy edges and a runny center. Absolutely divine.
Place is on the small side and some of the tables seem a bit close together, but overall a very nice dining environment and decent layout for the space available. Bar seating looked clean and had a large TV–I’m already planning ahead for a nice future spot for early Sunday football. They also have a patio space with umbrella coverings that is dog-friendly! An occasional passing train may cause a momentary disturbance, but looks like a cute outdoor oasis to enjoy a happy hour. (Although there was a wheelchair ramp to get to the entry door, the patio access appeared to be stairs-only.)
Would definitely recommend!
