This is one of my favorite places. I love the speakeasy feel. The food is always delicious, and the service excellent. Friends and I had a wonderful dinner last night. I got the red snapper which is my usual. So good! Everyone else got a New York strip and they all raved. It was a perfect night of good food, good drinks and good service.

The entree and appetizer was phenomenal. The bread pudding was horrible. It’s my favorite desert and unfortunately for them i can tell when it’s been reheated. Watkins Mule was awesome also.

Food took two hours to receive. Overall restaurant is very dark, and it is too cold. Server didn’t bring more bread to the table. I got the red snapper plate, and I am very displeased and saddened by the flavor. All of the food was overcooked and chewy. The green stuff was extremely salty. The fish was a little burnt and not seasoned. The potatoes were not seasoned and slightly dry. The tomato topping was too vinegary. Overall, this is one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever eaten at for the price. Also, nothing is dietary restriction friendly, and the seating is pretty cramped.

Loved this place! Would definitely visit again. The food was good. Service was great! Try the BBQ shrimp. Best I’ve ever had. The crab cakes were not what I expected but they were good. LOOOOVE the atmosphere! It kind of looks sketchy from the front door…but just trust the reviews and go in. Totally worth it!

We had a wonderful experience. Service was fantastic. The food was delicious. We had chicken Alfredo and a steak. Everything was fresh. Drinks were great as well. I had a flirtini. Bread pudding for dessert. We will be back soon.

We love it there. Tonight was probably close to the best meal we’ve ever had. The duck and ribeye were cooked as good as we’ve ever had it. Fat Mack definitely still has one of the top 3 restaurants in Oxford.

Our anniversary dinner tonight was wonderful! The crab and artichoke appetizer was delicious. My salmon and my husband’s red snapper were cooked perfectly. And the service was excellent. Danny, our waiter, was the best!

I had such a great experience thanks to our server, Emily S. —she was truly amazing! Even when a few things went wrong that were totally out of her control, she handled it all with such a positive attitude and genuine kindness. She stayed calm, friendly, and super attentive the entire time. It made such a difference in our night. You can tell she really cares about her customers. We left happy and grateful thanks to her!

Went with friends from high school for a nice dinner and drinks. First problem – when we walked in we were told to just find our friends which was fine except we had a reservation and they could have acted like we were customers. They couldn’t let go of their friends hair that they were braiding at the hostess desk – Impressive. We had been there for a few hours and were asked to leave. We were still eating and drinking wine. BUT, it was wine Wednesday for college kids so we were asked to leave.
I loved this restaurant – food is good – but will not spend my money to be treated rudely by hostess.
