Very poor customer service. Did not greet nor say have a great day. My shakin espresso wasn’t even full. My donuts were just dropped in the bag. If I wasn’t already home from working midnights as an EMT and running all shift I would have took the drink back. This is not the first time. I think I will be continuing my service at the other Hobart location on 6.

We went at 6:30pm on a Friday night. The posted hours on the door said they’re open until 9pm, but the doors were locked. The associate inside clearly heard me knocking on the glass, but never acknowledged us or came to the door. Will absolutely not return.

Coffee was hot, donuts fresh. Store clean. Girl at register kinda clueless. We had to tell her 3 times we wanted 2 large hot blueberry coffees with cream. She mixed up our donuts, but we finally got the correct ones.

I say ok, then just how bout 2 vanilla cream donuts? ” ah , never heard of that .You mean boston cream .”
I said no, boston is like a pudding. Vannilla or chocolate cream is similar to frosting in middle.
“I gotta check . Hold on . No we don’t have that vanilla” I asked, ok then just 2 chocolate cream. “We just don’t carry them” I said really?…..said ok ok just peanut donut then . “No , don’t have it” toasted coconut? “No were out of that too.”
My gosh ok then glazed, 2 glazed…….. …NOT EVEN … simple plain GLAZED I tell you!!???? [ In my head…I’m like…?? am I EVEN at a donut shop anymore!!!. or twilight zone. It’s like going to Mc D… & they have no ..hamburgers!! LOL]
I said, ya know what…this is ridiculous, I’ll just order a strawberry smoothie. I’m told to pull round/ pay & THEN told to move forward near door & we’ll bring it right out to u. I dont mind, no biggie.
12 – 13 minutes later -got out & went inside….Still I am thee only customer!! I’m asked what I’d like to order. I said I been outside waiting for my strawb smoothie for 12 – 13 minutes & there’s no other customers here. He appears embarrasssed & looks to drive thru girl who took my money .He says kindly, “sorry its coming up, it just takes a long time bc there are so many ingredients to put in it.” I just kept silent. Few minutes later a 3rd person brought my smoothie & walked away . I said thank you politely. Now can I have a straw? Anybody??
WOW & I did nt ” Karen ” them at all. 3 employees & me. They no nothing about customer service nor they could of cared less!! How bout throwing the old gal a free donut for this ridiculous wait. In all.. the young man….. I could tell was sincerely sorry & bit embarrassed. SO…. no ” time to make the donuts!” here or have em trucked from corporate . COST OVER $8. I must be outta touch. God just did nt want me to have a donut that day .

I have been going to Dunkin donuts and Baskin-Robbins for years. I go there with my wife at least three to four times a week and at least two to three times a day. I have visited all of the Dunkin donuts in the area. We have been to Portage,Valparaiso,Hobart,and Merrillville. This Dunkin donuts is by far the best of all! They are a young crew but they are extremely polite and professional. I have been there over a dozen times straight now and have not had one single mishap with my order or problem with service. I would give them a ten star rating if it was possible. I live in Valparaiso but I drive to this one every time I go to Dunkin donuts 4 coffee. The two of Valparaiso by us are absolutely ridiculous. I recently made a post like this one about them and since then the service has gone down tremendously. Thank you guys for everything.
