I started off excited about this bar. You can still smoke here. Lots of live musicians, local history, regulars, etc. However, over time, I began to realize it was extremely cliquey, and despite having an overt libertine appearance, many of the attendees were either right-wing or “centrist”. When I went with my friends a few times, they charged more for seltzer than they did for beer. I wasn’t able to go once without someone commenting on my appearance or trying to pick a fight. Lots of the patrons are coked up per their own admission. I don’t find their house fun at all, and won’t even go with friends now.

Tight space bur I love sitting out back in the summer. The bartenders are attentive and kind! Sometimes it’s a lot there (vibe wise), especially with how loud the live music gets. But when the mood strikes, the Funhouse is a good time 🙂 Drinks are pretty affordable too!
