Made a reservation for 06:15pm, party of 3 + 1 infant. We were there a couple of minutes early and were seated right away.
Restaurant is small but cozy, and it was really busy.
It was our first time at this location. Server brought us the menu and we placed our orders. It took over 30 min for the food to be served, which we considered a long wait for some dishes that didn’t seem to require a lot of preparation. In the meantime, our baby was getting really hungry and restless. Fortunately we had milk and snacks, just in case. We also noticed that there was a special OCTOBER MENU on a holder at the end of the table, with some very interesting drinks and dishes that were NEVER even mentioned to us And by then it was too late to change our orders.
Food finally came and tasted good bc we were really hungry at that point. Good presentation, well cooked but rather overpriced. Farotto was something different and not too bad.

I would rate this a 3.5/5. $21 burger – It was pretty good, but I only 1 piece of bacon that was kind of undercooked. I expect a better burger and 2 pieces of bacon for that price. Definitely room for improvement.

My friend got a seafood platter – fried fish and shrimp. My other friend got a burger. We had a few beers- good selection on tap. Nice new restaurant, and service was good.

Overall a good spot but the prices are a little high for what it is.

Probably the best burger I had in a decade. No joke it was awesome. Also had a great gin cocktail thst I then made at home. Riff on a Martinez.

Family also enjoyed the food. Easier to deal with then their burlington location and no issue getting a reservation on a Saturday night. Spacious place which they just took over in the last ywar and completely reconfigured.

Parking isn’t great because all the apartments but we found a spot no issue.

Wait staff was quick and attentive. Bartender mixed good cocktails. Hill farmstead on tap.

The burger was off the charts good.

Ive been coming to VT for the last two yrs for work and I have yet to have a bad meal. The seared trout was very flavorful and the kale cooked with lots of favor as well. For dessert, had the flourless chocolate cake and it did not disappoint.
I will make this has one of my stops when I am back in the area.

We are from out of town so we appreciated the local Vermont ingredients used in our burger. Cabbot cheese among others. Lighting was too bright so that felt off but we had a nice time.

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you I had the best burger of my life. The fries were alright, but the burger??? WOW. Cooked to perfection and filled with amazing flavor. My mouth is watering as I write about it.

Super friendly staff. I tried the salmon as well which was also very good. Will be coming here again without a doubt.

1st, my wife and I are new to Vermont. We moved from Massachusetts about 4 weeks ago on a Saturday.

When we were looking for a restaurant on Sunday and were surprised to find that most restaurants, that were not your typical chain restaurants, were closed on Sunday’s and Monday’s.

We found the Farmhouse, and were not sure what to expect. We are exceptionally happy to find such a great place. In fact, we have been back 14 times over the last 4 weeks.

The staff, food and ambience are perfect for us. If I remember their names and spelling correctly, our servers have been, Devon, Matt, Bella, Keieran, Mikala, Amy and we had Sedera last Night. I will also mention that Scott & Ryan, who I think is the manger, are always checking to make sure everything is as expected. It is always better than expected.

The Food and Staff are ALL phenomenal…. I highly recommend.

Definitely giving the Farmhouse some slack here given they just opened their doors. What worked: excellent table service, delicious food (the cheese plate for 2 and the angus burger were superb!). The service manager couldn’t have been more helpful. Location is great too. Glad we grabbed reservations in advance since it was busy. The “meh” was it was a bit on the pricey side, drinks were just OK (their specialty drinks are served in larger glasses that makes the drinks look like they are 3/4 pours). Bar area is nice but not very large.

One of the best burgers in Vermont! We got the special burger and turkey burger. The tap list isn’t quite as good as the Burlington location, but they still have a couple Hill Farmstead beers on tap so can’t complain. Parking is easy and the place was popping on a Saturday night.
