Went here with my friend for a glass of wine and to show some local support. We absolutely loved it! The wine, food and service was AMAZING! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Every time my friends take me to a wing restaurant I always walk out likeEhhhh. Today I just stumbled across Sicily wine bar in Middletown. I took the mango habanero wings to go.
THEEE best wings I’ve had. Period
And they’re not just a wing bar, I can’t wait to go back. If their wings are that good I can just imagine how their other dishes fare. I also walked by the open kitchen to use the restroom, which was spotless, and the kitchen was immaculate; everything was fresh as could be
Bravo Sicily!

Ive always enjoyed the Sicily restaurant and the new Sicily wine bar is visually stunning. The wine selection is very good, although wine flights would make it outstanding. The service was acceptable but could’ve been far better. There were small attention to details lacking. For instance, things like the wait staff were not really familiar with the wines and kept forgetting serving utensils. The check was presented without offering a dessert menu and staging of entrees was off….one couple had their entrees at the table apx seven mins before the other couples plates were served-which means things were getting colder and slightly awkward. The food was somewhat inconsistent. Some dishes like the Sicilian panini were mediocre and the ravioli ok, however the spaghetti with truffle was outstanding. The beef carpaccio was very good, however the portion of beef was extremely small. I’ll assume they are still in a learning curve as they’ve only been open a couple of weeks but would’ve expected an experienced restauranteur to have these fundamentals covered. Overall a good experience but given the cost, the value wasn’t there this time.

We went to Sicily about a month ago hoping the wine bar was open and we were toured so we were really excited to hear about the opening recently and come on our day off. First off, your wine selection is amazing, secondly, you didn’t have the wine I ordered so I tried a different glass that they poured from the coolest machines (I always worry about wines by the glass because you can’t keep a bottle fresh too long so seeing this made me cry for joy inside) and let me tell you it was wonderful and so delicious. For apps we had the small charcuterie and cheese and you could’ve convinced me it was the large; so many cheeses and meats and side and dips galore, I was in heaven. For our main course, we did the truffle pizza and the pork loin entree and it was perfect for this cool fall weather we’re starting to get. Aside from how food and drink was, the service was impeccable. Zack told us about each cheese and meat when dropping of the charcuterie and helped us pick out our entrees. The female bartender (I am so sorry I forgot your name ) let us write down the wine I had for next time. Middletown was missing a place like this. If you are looking for a great wine and a good meal or apps, this is it. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back weekly I refuse to go anywhere else for my weekly glass of wine. Plus, the wine glasses are really nice if you’re picky about that at all. Couldn’t say more wonderful things

First time at the wine bar. I have to say I am disappointed. I thought we could get a a few fun 3oz pours but most cost as much as a glass of wine. The atmosphere is cold. There are odd fake granite (art?). Does not seem to do the place any favors. Espresso martini, though made with real nespresso espresso, was a 3 out of 5. We did not eat so can’t comment on that though several have mentioned they enjoyed their food. Not sure I would come back.
