We were visiting on vacation. Family suggested the Bistro. We had a nice brunch. I had the eggs Benedict and it was pretty good. On the plus side it’s like a bird sanctuary. Several feeders offered a wide variety of birds. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved our brunch here! Warm reception by the staff and tastefully decorated space.
The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients excellently prepared!!!! The server could have been a bit more attentive that’s the only thing with a little room for improvement. This was our first time here but will not be the last!

I was really excited to visit this charming, quaint spot after winning a Mother’s Day brunch here. The atmosphere is cozy, and was super cute! Unfortunately, the breakfast didn’t quite live up to expectations in terms of flavor, and the service felt a bit lacking. I had the eggs Benedict. After we finished our meal, no one came back to check on us, so we weren’t sure when or how to leave. I also noticed some cleanliness issues, like dust and dead bugs on the windowsill, which took away from the overall experience. That said, I think with a bit more attention to detail, this place could be great. I think it would be really cool to have a print out of the history of acorn hill at the tables because I’d love to know more about the history! Still, I’m grateful for the chance to experience it!

Found this hidden gem today while looking for a breakfast place near our doctor’s office. The lodge looks awesome from the outside and inside is full of southern charm. The bistro is open until 11 for breakfast. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, the food was good. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or want to check out a new place.

Such a cute spot for a weekend brunch! You can eat here even if you’re not staying at Acorn Hill. The pancakes were SO good (and they even have gluten-free) Only bummer was the bacon it came out pretty cold. Otherwise, great vibe and definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

Great prices on the senior specials. My food was hot but my wife’s was cold. They were down 1 cook which made for a very long wait.

This is a lesser known bistro/brunch place and it doubles as a lodge. I went on a Sunday and was able to enjoy their brunch menu (they only serve brunch on Sunday. It was absolutely delicious. Well prepared, presented beautifully, and satisfactorily filling. Best of all, the price was low for the quality of food that was served. I highly recommend to any brunch lover.

This is a small restaurant connected with the lodge/bed and breakfast

We were not guests but we called and asked if we could dine in. After getting approval we showed up and was able to seat ourselves. The food was great and you can just tell that this is a nice, family owned place!
