Brown Bag is famous for their catering service. Imagine my delight when I saw they have a storefront downtown! Their salads, chicken and mashed potatoes. Yum! Tried the jalapeño corn casserole today. Delicious! Excellent menu, reasonable prices and unbelievable food!

Probably more like 1.5 stars. No restroom, no atmosphere and very cold. The food was below average. I’ll post a picture of one of my two tacos if Google allows it. As someone only passing through Knoxville, it was our first and last trip to the Brown Bag.

I’ve had to wait upwards of 20 minutes before for them to get my order out but the food is well worth any wait. They have a great selection of fresh non-fried entrees as well as a large variety of tasty sides. The redskin mashed potatoes and jalapeño corn casserole are pure southern comfort food and are my usual go to’s but the berry slaw and sautéed veggies are great as healthier options.

I would give up every other restaurant just for a bite of their Caesar salad. If you are not eating here you are missing on a gift that is better than the go cart I got as a child. I wrecked that go cart but I had a lot of fun before. The 5 stars isn’t enough to explain how much this place has nourished me (spiritually as well)

This place is delightful. Great food and I mean great. The simple menu is simply terrific. The Roast Chicken was cook perfectly and the two sides consisted of mashed potatoes and Jalapeno corn. It is a very nice charge of pace from from the common fast food selection that usually takes its place.

The food here is so amazing!! So healthy and filling. Oh my god the salmon sandwich is so delicious and with a side of banana pudding. The only thing is it’s very overpriced knowing there is a big office next door where employees can go here for their lunch break, and the portions are very small.

I ordered the grilled chicken breast, mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and banana pudding. Everything was good and I only took a star away because I specifically asked if they put real bananas in their banana pudding and was told yes. When I got it there weren’t any, but it was still pretty good
