Different from some of the other locations, this one has a large seating area and a waitress. Even though most order on the computer screen they were waiting tables here. As I’ve had the bbq sandwich the other locations I tried the ribs today. If you like them falling off the bone , then you’ll like these. A variety of sauces are available. I will add the ribs were consistently cooked across the rack. Not the burnt small end you often see.

Went for a pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. Well to say the least it was okay. They gave me on sauce which is pictured so I had to ask for another. Unfortunately you really need the min 3 for that sandwich. The pork was okay beans I had to spice up myself. The whole virtual order taker to me is a bit much because you still have to deal with a real person in store. What the reason is for that I have no idea. The atmosphere was decent and not to crowded with stuff. One thing I can say is that at least there is a bbq place in Oakland now. I do t live there but work there everyday. 3 stars because the lack of sauce they want to give. Other then that I can’t say to much else bad or good about it,but hey it’s my opinion I’d say still go check them out. The staff there was friendly at least.

They have added to their menu. And everything is great. The new burger is a fresh hand made burger. They now have chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches and even taco’s. Tried all the new menu items and they are great. Definitely my new go to in OaklandTn.

1st time here not what I thought it would be. This little bit of food was over $40. The ribs were moist fell right off the bone. I had the trio sliders chicken, pork and brisket they were all 3 very dry. My baked potato salad was a cold potato with sour cream… not good. Can’t say I’ll be back. Sorry guys

Ordered a jumbo beef Brisket with Cole slaw on the side. No Cole slaw, the sandwich looked smaller than a regular. We’ve had good meals here before, but tonight was way off. All the food ordered tonight was disappointing.

So let me start by saying that before today I had only had Baby Jacks catered from the Arlington location.
Today we visited the location in Oakland for the first time. Walking in it feels empty and there is no ambience. Then you get to the counter. There are tvs with the menu but no prices. When you place an order you talk to a person via webcam who is using the same online interface as you would if you place your own order online. I like the concept but it’s clunky and super squared awkward. The food had good flavor ribs were fall off the bone but cold. Wife’s pulled chicken sandwich was cold and dry, daughters chicken nuggets warm kinda but not hot. It’s new and probably growing pains I hope. We may try again maybe.

I don’t like making bad reviews but unfortunately I need to on this one. My husband and I doordashed this Friday night and both ordered the loaded nachos. Our order took longer than usual which.. fine, it’s a weekend night, understandable! But after waiting awhile for our order and finally getting it, our nachos had no nacho cheese and our chips were so stale they were essentially chewy. Yikes. I pretty much ate stale chips with BBQ meat/sauce for dinner because there was also barely any shredded cheese. Previous experiences have not been this bad but hopefully it’s not going downhill.

We had breakfast here this morning, they had only 2 employees and the place was busy. Those poor 2 guys were rocking and rolling, very friendly, despite being short handed they were very friendly. The food was the best breakfast I had around here in a while, our food took some time, but when we got it, it was hot and fresh. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, which is rare for people to get right. I’m very glad to see we have a really nice breakfast place. My only hope is that they get more pleasant staff like the two guys today and they stay consistent with the food quality and fair prices, we got alot of food for the money.

We went to Baby Jacks on Oakland for breakfast this morning. We were seated and waited 10 minutes for a menu and water. We finally ordered and the brought out 4 pancakes. 2 for me and 2 for the other person. I had one pancakes that was jet black and smelled like smoke. I couldn’t believe she even brought that out after seeing it herself. I asked for another pancakes in its place. I watched another family get their own refills and get napkins from other unoccupied tables. After 4 hrs. I’m still waiting on my water refill. They are awful all the way around. BTW, they have a TV in the kitchen to watch, that explains the burnt pancakes.
