⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review from Ramy Chanteau

Kriti Kitchen is absolutely outstanding! The food tastes incredibly fresh, authentic, and full of flavor — you can really feel the passion they put into every dish. The service is warm, friendly, and makes you feel right at home.

It’s rare to find a place that delivers this level of quality and consistency. I highly recommend Kriti Kitchen to anyone looking for delicious Greek food and a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be back soon!

What a gem of a restaurant! The food was delicious and enjoyed the low key atmosphere and to go options. This will be a new regular spot for us!

Wow what a great place. Really pretty dining room with bright white and blue decor. Beautiful sea mural on the wall. The food is so good. We ordered the seasonal salad and the Cretan salad and split the chicken souvlaki. Both salads are among the best we have ever had. We took home the baklava ice cream. Fantastic. This is a top 5 Houston restaurant in an unlikely location. I apologize to the food gods that I didn’t come earlier.

Edit: I came back to post a pic of the June 2025 seasonal salad – watermelon and feta w chicken. So good.

Neighborhood gem. Very traditional Greek food. The Moussaka was full of flavor. The triple dip board and meat board were also delicious. I personally love the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with roasted sweet potatoes, okra and spinach. Very friendly service and cute little place !!

Ours was an amazing and welcoming experience! After reading the positive review in the Houston Chronicle we decided that we must visit for lunch. First impression, we were greeted by a well-designed, comfortable lighting, along with an interesting selection of music. My wife ordered a chicken wrap and side salad while I ordered a lamb wrap and side salad along with an ice tea. It was a fresh, delicious, perfect combination. The tzatziki sauce, my wife commented, was the best she’s ever had! I had to agree. The ice tea, brewed with cinnamon, was an unexpected plus! We plan on returning!

Update: We have since returned multiple times and each time our meals have been exquisite as is the tzatziki sauce. Wow! We noticed that Kriti Kitchen was included in the Houston Chronicle’s 2025 year-end list top 100 restaurant list for Houston. We plan on returning 2026.

I rarely write reviews but this place is so good. From the outside it is a very unassuming, small cafe-style restaurant. It’s decorated with a calming vibe that is unique but well thought out. The food is delicious. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection – temperature, flavors, texture, even presentation, nothing over-the-top but everything better than expected. AND, the menu says they strive to make everything from scratch and use locally sourced farmers. We will definitely be going back to try all the dishes!

Kriti Kitchen is a chef-driven neighborhood gem. My wife and I have been loyal regulars since opening, and it’s our favorite breakfast spot, though honestly, everything here is exceptional.

The menu is thoughtful and beautifully executed. Standouts include the Spana Omelet, Dakos, and savory Bougatsa, and the lemon potatoes, which are to die for. Entrées, wraps, mezze boards, and seasonal salads are all consistently fantastic. Sunday brunch is a must.

Don’t miss the house-made iced tea or the pastries, we always get the biscuit. Add in high-quality ingredients, a top-tier chef, and genuinely wonderful staff, and it’s an easy five stars. We love this place.

My husband and I visited Greece a few months ago. We have been craving some good authentic Greek food. We stumbled upon this place after searching for a Greek restaurant close to us while we were visiting Houston. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was excellent. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was excellent. They even modified one of their dishes to match one of the dishes we had in Greece. The quality of the ingredients was great. We will definitely return when we’re back in the area.

The food is fresh made Greek cuisine, beautiful and delicious. It is a tiny space with very few tables but you can easily take things to go including frozen to heat at home.

Wow what a gem! The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is pleasant! I ordered the lamb wrap and replaced the tzatziki sauce with their delicious pine nut sauce (vegan). I also got a side of yummy cauliflower! I love the decor in the place. It’s really cute! We’ll probably add it to our rotation of local restaurants for dinner. I highly recommend this cute little restaurant for take away or for dining in!
