This diamond in the rough gem of a family restaurant is a must on your dining out list. Great home like atmosphere but the food is the BEST EVER home cooked we’ve ever eaten in all the cafes etc that we’ve tried. We will definitely be back. Also shared with all my friends who plan to visit also.

I enjoyed myself! The food was hot and delicious! Service was great! I don’t get to try it but they also have a lunch buffet that appeared really nice! If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth the visit!

Went here for Mother’s Day…. We were super disappointed. For 5 of us it was $93. For that much you’d expect the buffet to be stocked, available plates, have silverware. Salad bar was empty, desserts were gone and not replaced the whole time we were there. They ran out of silverware and plates/bowls. All the staff was running crazy and only checked on us twice. We probably won’t be back, we gave it a shot and were extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately, I never even got to taste the food. Which I was really looking forward to doing. When I sat at the table and opened the menu a baby roach was crawling inside the clear cover. I totally lost my appetite and left. I will not be returning. As a Public Health professional with the military for the past 20 years….when roaches are spotted in the restaurant and comfortable walking around in the daytime….this is a clear sign that there is a heavy roach infestation.

Otherwise, the staff was very understanding of my need to leave and receptive of the negative feedback I gave them.

Went for Sunday Brunch Buffet and loved it! Go! Be sure to get the amazing fried chicken! If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you must have the peach cobbler. I did not get any pictures 🙁 but the atmosphere is relaxing in an old home – where everyone knows everyone! So, go by, sit for a spell, and enjoy great food!

Very nice little resteraunt. Good food (slightly pricey) and great service (there’s even a little bell to ring to get another plate for the buffet). The atmosphere and overall dining experience was very nice. It’s a nice place to stop by that I do recommend trying. (The Philly Cheesesteak was very good)

Went with my Father for lunch. They use plastic picnic table cloths. Not a big deal, but this one happened to be extremely sticky. When we told the young lady serving us, she simply replied, it’s the spray we use. We had to ask for a wet rag. She brought us a dirty wet rag and laid it on the table and walked off. We wiped the table off ourselves. It did not help with the stickiness. We lifted the table cloth, thinking that we could just fold it back and use the table top. Nope. That was so sticky that the soft fuzz padding on the underneath of the table cloth had stuck to the table, leaving the fuzz all over it. We ordered our food. It came and one dish had to be sent back as it was ordered without sour cream and it had a lot on it. Too much to just scrape off. The young lady seemed put out that we were sending it back. We got the correct order and the food wasn’t special, but it wasn’t bad. We ate and as we were waiting for the check, which never came, my father noticed I had blue on my elbows and I noticed he had it on his finger tips as well, from where they had rested on the blue table cloth. We tried to wipe it off with the dirty wet rag that had remained on the edge of the table throughout the meal and it would not come off. We finally got up and went to the counter, where the girl was standing, to pay for our food. At that time, we showed her the staining on our skin and let her know that it wasn’t coming off and that the table remained very sticky after we wiped it down. She seemed upset that we complained about it. She didn’t address the blue staining at all and said no one else had ever complained about a table being sticky. My father asked to speak with the manager or owner to which the girl replied, they aren’t here, but the cook is the owners mother. I can get her but she won’t care either. This bistro is definitely a one and done for us.

Just say no to soggy rubbery cheese sticks under pasta, and unwashed grapes, an lettuce.

Peach cobblers good. ❤️ Wraps are good too when you don’t taste pesticides.

It depends on the day you go here or order on how good your food will be. If they don’t feel like making something “it’s out right now.” I do not recommend monterrey chicken salad. The chicken was so dry I just took it off. I’d recommend the Wraps, smothered pork chops, and peach cobbler.
