One star for one reason only that will very much hurt this much needed convenient Taco Bell. They took the build your own cravings box off the online menu. For those of you who are in the loop it’s easily the best deal Taco Bell has to offer. Giving you two entrees of your choosing chips and a drink for 8 dollars. It was almost too good to be true. I’ve looked at other Taco Bell’s and some of them still offer this and some of them don’t. Most have raised the price to 12 dollers please please bring it back at a bigger price if needed. It’s too good and I won’t be coming back if it’s not there.
UPDATE: They brought it back!

Had my first ever taco bell here and while I appreciate it’s far from gourmet, I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected, especially when it’s so cheap!
Sadly I ended up taking a bite of my boyfriend’s meat burrito (I’m a vegetarian…) because nothing was clearly labelled, but aside from that, I couldn’t complain! I also loved the selection of hot sauce sachets available.

On multiple occasions, including today, I’ve stopped by around 10am (they open at 9am) to grab lunch during my work break and they are “CLOSED” – not officially, but the employees have the doors locked, the drive-thru shut down, and the dining room lights off. The last time this happened, I took the time to call the location; and, after an excessive amount of rings, an employee answered the phone, sounded frantic but apologized, and immediately unlocked the lobby door to let me come in and order (my work truck is too big to go through the drive-thru, even if it hadn’t been shut down). This morning, however, nobody would even answer the phone. The options for grabbing a quick meal in North Plains are extremely limited, as is the time I have for my work meal break – so, needless to say, this has been very disappointing and frustrating (leaving me hungry and disgruntled). If this location needs to change their hours of operation due to staffing shortages or poor planning, I understand that…but it’s not a great business practice for a restaurant to be inconsistent and unreliable. Please do better.

Do not dine in. They repeatedly keep the drive through going, 3 people inside, 8 or 9 go through the drive through. My order in particular was skipped twice. Sitting in their dining room for 25 to 30 minutes.
This place has really gone down hill and it is sad.
If their could be negative stars they would get that

This is my very favorite Taco Bell I’ve ever been to. I’ll be honest eat a lot of Taco Bell. And I’ve been to pretty much everyone in the greater Portland area and on the coast this place is always my favorite Taco Bell. Their portions are bigger and their staff is always super friendly if they’ve ever made a mistake on my order, they always make it right without complaining. I usually go out of my way to come to this Taco Bell Because I literally think that their burritos are about twice the size of other Taco Bell‘s!

I’ve been going to this Taco Bell for a couple years and about 75% of the time they forget something in my order. Not only that but the last few days they’ve been unexpectedly closed without any warning on google or the app. I’m so confused as to why they are keeping the store “open” (employees in there, not actively closing) when you can’t even come in or go through the drive thru. Super frustrating when it’s one of the only fast food places in town.

Came here for lunch, no one else here in the entire lobby, but it still took them 20 minutes to make my order. I don’t know what they were doing back there
This location is very understaffed, but still very friendly. I wish I could give them more stars but they also close the lobby randomly without putting up a sign on the door, so about half the time you’ll drive up and just pull on the door, just to find out it’s locked
Edit: I’ve been back quite a few times, and most of the time it’s been great. Things have gotten a lot faster and the people here are friendly. Occasionally they will get overwhelmed during peak hours since it’s a small staff

Stopped in for lunch today. Said to order thru kiosk; so, I decided to use the phone app instead. After 20 mins I checked on my order. They hadn’t started it, they were putting off my order in order to keep the drive thru moving. At least 20 cars came and went while I waited. Finally, 26 mins later I got my order. I didn’t have time to eat my lunch. I had to wait till my next break to eat my cold lunch. I guess if I want food in a reasonable time I need to use the drive thru. Also I didn’t receive the avocado sauce packs I was charged extra for. If this wasn’t my local location I would avoid it. Perhaps I’ll get a burger at the pub nearby next time.

Employees are awesome and very helpful. However, I am not likely to use this location again as management is forcing customers to use a kiosk to order even when paying cash. Management has even removed the overhead menu completely blocking customers from even trying to order from employees.

Ordered two tacos for dinner while working. Got to the window, paid, watched him drop my food bag on the floor, pick it up hand it to me and shut the window. The tacos were destroyed, and it’s gross they picked it up off the floor. Never going back again which is a shame since it’s one of the only food options near my work.
