Wife and I just went to steak ‘n shake and got some of the sorriest looking meals imaginable. No, some of the sorriest looking expensive as hell meals.
I got the number 1 large, chili five way, and a cup with a scope of ice cream in it.
My wife’s just told me where chili five-way doesn’t even have chili on it.
We paid $18 for this slop a dog wouldn’t even eat.
I do want to say the employee working the window was nice and professional. She added the condiments I asked for not leaving one out. So props to her.
I recommend next time you are hungry to find the nearest dumpster instead of going to this steak ‘n shake.
Close the entire store, fix what needs to be fixed, and serve decent food. God knows during these hard times people need every cent they get so it makes me even more furious someone served us this nasty filth.

I am not against Christianity but going into a main stream restaurant I should not have to listen to Christian music. Now if this was like a Christian bookstore or something that would be different. The onion rings tasted like they were dipped in fish oil and our waitress, Destiny N. gave us our food and never checked on us and it wasn’t busy. Had to go to the counter to get to go boxes. Other than these things Ryan I love coming to Steak N Shake.

I really like this restaurant. The food is always hot and well made. Their service is fantastic. Shakes are made very quickly compared to other locations I’ve been to. Drive through isn’t good if you’re in a hurry, but overall a great location if you’re in the mood for a good burger.

I have to say this place has turned around. When they opened I was having one horrible experience after another. We hadn’t been in a really long time. We had a phenomenal experience because of the manager that was there, Mary. She recognized us immediately and made it a point to take care of us herself. She asked how we had been and remembered our order even though if had been half a year or more since we’d been in. She made sure the food was fresh and exactly what we wanted and checked on us several times. I felt like our business was truly valued and I can see us becoming regulars again!

The food was all fresh and hot, the milkshakes were perfect, not too thin and not too thick and the tables, chairs, and restroom were all clean. It was very busy while we were there, but the servers were all friendly, polite and working hard. I love the 50s vibe you get when you walk into a steak and shake, but at this location you also get a very friendly, calm, and at home like feeling.

Great milkshakes. Smooth and delucious. Good service. They have a weekday special half price drinks from 2-5 pm. I got the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and it was really great. I can’t seem to stop thinking about how good it was.

Simply put a 4.00 dollar menu…. Fantastic food, Fantastic service, Fantastic price… Say bye bye McDonald’s, why have questionable meat when you can have steak! Shout out to the best severs thus far, Will and Erika!!! Folks with the 4 dollar menu make sure you TIP 20% or more as long as your service is fantastic!!! And if there is a wait, it’s worth it for fresh cooked food!

We stopped here on the way home from the Kentucky Renaissance Faire. I got the Frisco melt. It was tasty and affordable. Destiny was our server, and she was very pleasant. I almost didn’t want to stop, because I was worried about taking too much time. Everything was quick, and everyone was polite. One of the best Steak N Shakes I’ve been too! Great job.
