We came in during happy hour. We ordered house margs, the chips and salsa trio, the queso fundido with corn tortillas, and cheese enchiladas with red sauce. The food came out surprisingly fast which can be a good thing but also a red flag. The salsas were all watery and thin. The queso tasted like canned cheese sauce and solidified within minutes despite our efforts to eat it quickly. Eating the enchiladas was like eating salty, solid blocks of cheese covered in the thinnest, oiliest tortillas. Nothing was downright terrible but it wasn’t good. We don’t plan to come back.

This was my first time here and I was very very impressed with the quality of the food! Great taste good amount and amazing staff. Rob took great care of us! Highly recommend the camarones a la diabla if you like shrimp and spice! Taste is on point! Only thing is you have request a side tortillas but even those are delicious! The coco morado is refreshing! Good drink for summer! I will definitely return for some good authentic Mexican food with a great atmosphere!!

So glad this Mexican restaurant moved into Edgewater . We had not tried other location. The food was excellent. They let us try their four sauces first. I liked the red chili and sour cream mushroom mole and my husband like red mole. They also have a green chili sauce: I tried three different enchiladas and my husband tried three different tacos. They hear all great.
The service was excellent as well
I have to say that this is a huge upgrade from the previous restaurant at this location .

I noticed the “coming soon” sign a few months ago at their new Edgewater location and waited patiently to make my first visit to give them time to iron out any kinks. I suspect I didn’t have to wait.
The service was excellent. Our server asked if it was our first visit and patiently gave us an overview of the offerings and that everything is prepared from scratch on site. We also had an opportunity to try their four different sauces with our chips so we could pick which one we wanted on our entree order. This was not only good for decision making but stimulated great conversation as we each took turns critiquing the sauces.
I ordered a burrito with carnitas which was huge and delicious. The carnitas was moist and came apart easily. The verde sauce complimented the selection perfectly.
My wife ordered a half bowl of Pozole which she loved. It was nice to have the option of a half portion at lunch time. She ended up taking some home anyway as there was still a lot of food.
The seating is comfortable and I appreciated that the sound level in the restaurant was not overbearing. It was easy to have a pleasant conversation while eating.
As we walked away we all commented that we will be back to try other selections from their comprehensive menu.

Used to be a Broadway patron but this location is my new go-to. Even during busy times there’s always a spot at the bar. You can’t beat Taco Tuesday specials even though it’s probably the craziest day of the week for staff. Best pastor in Denver imo. Get your marg spicy (fresh crushed jalapeño) if you are craving a kick. Happy hour total is usually about $25 before tip. Shout out to the awesome bartender with the braids. She is a total pro and so are her fabulous braiding skills. Only con: lots of chads and bros but you can’t help the clientele- I hope Adelita’s gets all the paying customers they need to succeed and then some.

Had an El Pastor Burrito smotherred in a delicious mole. My server was really good. Food quality was great but i left still hungry. If they offered complimentary chips and salsa like a lot of other authentic mexican restaurants do i would have given 5 stars.
