The restaurant is clean, the staff is very nice and friendly. The place was busy with a lot of non-Indian customers.
We had high expectations from this restaurant. Our experience was not up to par when it came to food. We were looking for authentic Indian food which was cooked fresh. We could not taste the difference between the two paneer dishes we ordered. The ice cream seemed to have come right out of a box and was nothing like what is served in India.
My American friends liked it, but we being Indians did not enjoy the food.

Just had lunch here before seeing a movie at Jacob Burns, it was a delight. The food is delicious and the dining room is serene and beautiful, with quiet, attentive service. I’ve eaten at many other Indian buffets and they’ve left the impression that they were warmed up leftovers, but that wasn’t the case at Bollywood Grill – food truly tasted freshly made. It’s also great for meeting friends before the show because you don’t wait long to be served and have plenty of time to catch up while eating. Very reasonably priced too!

Owner was very nice and helpful. Establishment is beautiful. Food was good. Chicken was cooked very well and the curry was subtle in flavor. The curry was not spicy, opposed to how Indian food should be; however, I understand that it is probably due to the racial demographics of the area. Only got a lunch box, but will be coming back to try out the rest of their menu.

Wonderful restaurant. The owner is the nicest man who takes exceptional pride in the food he serves. He is available to answer any questions, make suggestions or even customize a dish for you. The wait staff is not the best however this is a truly family run business serving outstanding quality delicious food. The cauliflower appetizer was out of this world and everything else was fabulous. I have eaten tons of Indian food in my life. This is definitely among the best!!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch at Bollywood Grill in Pleasantville, NY. We were thrilled to find such large variety of authentic Indian cuisine offerings on the affordably priced lunch buffet. The many, excellent vegetarian choices and the mild flavor of every entree delighted us. We had the opportunity to speak with and commend the talented chef/owner, while service was friendly and impeccable. We eagerly assign a 5-star rating to Bollywood Grill for its authentic cuisine, perfectly rendered dishes, superb service, and peaceful ambiance. We look forward to returning with friends and family!

Great service, very nice food! They accommodated our party of 20 on a very short notice. They stayed longer beyond their closing time, with a smile, until we finish with all celebrations and pictures.
Food is pretty well made and full of flavors! Lasoni Gobi appetizer was specially good.

I am extremely pleased with everything here- the food, prices, atmosphere, and staff are all wonderful. I came for the lunch buffet so I did try a bunch of different dishes and thought all of them were flavorful and tasty. I will be ordering out, returning for lunch, and coming for dinner in the near future!

My family and I have visited several times which I normally do before writing a review. Each time we have visited the food has been very good and the wait staff has been very kind and courteous. My wife and I work late so we showed up a couple times right before they were going to close yet they still welcomed us in warmly. They even opened the kitchen again for us once. Good food plus great staff makes us loyal customers from now on.

This place is one of the better indian restaurants I have been to. Great customer service and the buffet has a lot of options. Plus if you’re a student theres a discount on the food! Highly recommend trying their Mango Lassi and the chicken tandoori! The owner is also pretty great and so sweet, he remembered me months after I had first gone. Recommend to anyone trying to figure out what to eat!

The food was great…let me start there. Second, the restaurant is under new management. For the people who have tried this place before, it’s definitely worth another shot! The food is actually cooked and cooked well. My wife and I are from two different regions of India. It was nice to have dinner and the food be palatable for both of our taste preferences in regards to indian food. We had dinner the other night, we ordered a full spread of vegetables, chicken dishes and lamb. A friend ordered chicken tikka; I usually never order that at an indian restuarant…I think I ate most of it this time. It tasted like it was homemade. One last thing, I didn’t think I would be writing about naan. I think most people like it, but these were amazing! So fresh and crispy and FLUFFY all at the same time. Usually they are crispy and flat, I didn’t know what I was missing. I don’t know what else to say; check it out, the service was quick and friendly and the food was great.
