We went here yesterday for the first time. My husband had the Blackened Shrimp Ètouffee Over Cheddar Grits with a biscuit and sausage gravy as his bread of choice and I had the Stuffed French Toast with Latke Hash Browns. He liked the shrimp and grits. He said it wasn’t anything spectacular but it was good. The biscuit and sausage gravy was oddly sweet and inedible. For my meal, I had originally asked if I could sub the sausage for bacon but they said they were premade so I couldn’t. I was fine with that but I found it a bit odd that they were premade. My first impression of my meal was that it was that both components were in the fryer too long. Any flavor there might have been was long gone in the grease. The bread of the french toast was completely soaked with grease and it was so crunchy it was difficult to eat. There was very little egg/cheese/sausage filling inside. It was served with syrup and some sort of fruit compote which was delicious! The hash browns were nothing special and again, way overcooked, extremely crunchy, just tasted like oil. We had a good experience with the wait staff and the atmosphere, however, and we’ll be back to try something else. I hear they have amazing desserts so I’m looking forward to trying one of those next time.

BillyGoat Grub is hard to put in to words to express my sheer excitement to sit down and eat. The fact im limited to only 5 stars is a flaw in this review.

From the pleasure of the comfort meals elevated to something a cut above, to the staff who make it feel like you’re eating at a family/friend’s place you’ve known for years. You will never be more shocked at how familiar the experience will feel even if it’s your first time there.

Zuke and John are some of most down to earth people you will meet. Came here for my birthday and as a gift I was given the recipe to the potroast mac n cheese. I had to hold it together till I got back to the car to not geek out.

Thank you as always for treating us to the wonderful experience. -Kevin and Morgan.

The food here was insanely good!

Started with the Philly Eggrolls, and those were probably my favorite part of the whole dinner experience. They were crunchy, creamy, and packed with flavor.

Then, my wife and I ordered the Philly Cheesteak Mac and the Pot Roast Mac and split them. They were both heavenly. Large portion sizes, and the Mac and cheese was super creamy. There was plenty of pot roast in the Mac and cheese, and it had a French onion vibe that was so good. The Philly Mac and cheese had crispy onions on top that were crispy and went well with the sauce.

The atmosphere was very chill, and the waiter was attentive but did not rush us.

We were the only ones there, which made me a bit sad. A place with this amazing of food should be full on the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Love the modern space with ample seating and a nice bar top. The menu has much to offer for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We’ve been twice for breakfast and they did not disappoint. You have to try their pancakes and the French toast chicken sandwich with apple slaw; delicious. The coffee was very good as well. I recommend checking the place out soon.

Wanted to support local so we decided to try BGG. Beautiful restaurant. Our server was very nice.

My pot roast was not good at all. The meat was tender (boiled?) and had no flavor or vegetables. The gravy looked like a package mix and the collard greens that came with it were bitter and not seasoned well.

I don’t mean to bash, the food was just not cooked with love if that makes sense.

Great place to try unique food. We started off with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. Delicious! Hubs got the pot roast Mac and cheese and I got the etouffee over grits. All twists on classics, and all were absolutely wonderful. Would come back!

Great food. No wait. Great service. We tried going to another place down the way but it was all jammed up with a 2 hour wait. Made a pivot and so glad we did. In and out in an hour. Loved the hash browns and biscuits and gravy. It was all great to be honest. Will go again when back in town. Very clean.

The atmosphere is great. Nice and cool inside when it’s hot outside. They have bar top, tables and booths.

I ordered biscuits and gravy and a blueberry pancake on the side.
When they say meaty gravy, they aren’t kidding. It was very good. My husband got the eggs Benedict. He enjoyed it. They both came with the latke potato hash. So good.

Pancake tasted good as well.

Service was good and very friendly. Thank You Christopher!

We will be going back again for sure.

Noticed a new place was in town and thought I would give it a try. Walked in and was asked to sit anywhere. Waitress was friendly and helpful in explaining dinner options. I ended up selecting chicken gumbo and vegetable curry. In short time a hot bowl with chicken gumbo on white rice was delivered to my table. This was spicy and delicious. Next was the main entree. This dish was steaming hot and the aroma was wonderful. One taste was all I needed to know this was going to be really good. As I was finishing up I noticed the menu had no dessert. Then when the waitress came to check in on me, I was surprised she suggested dessert. I ordered pecan pie with ice cream. The sweet pie and cool ice cream was perfect way to end a spicy dinner. Was pleasantly surprised with what this new restaurant had to offer and will be back to try more of the dishes.
