From the pleasure of the comfort meals elevated to something a cut above, to the staff who make it feel like you’re eating at a family/friend’s place you’ve known for years. You will never be more shocked at how familiar the experience will feel even if it’s your first time there.
Zuke and John are some of most down to earth people you will meet. Came here for my birthday and as a gift I was given the recipe to the potroast mac n cheese. I had to hold it together till I got back to the car to not geek out.
Thank you as always for treating us to the wonderful experience. -Kevin and Morgan.
Started with the Philly Eggrolls, and those were probably my favorite part of the whole dinner experience. They were crunchy, creamy, and packed with flavor.
Then, my wife and I ordered the Philly Cheesteak Mac and the Pot Roast Mac and split them. They were both heavenly. Large portion sizes, and the Mac and cheese was super creamy. There was plenty of pot roast in the Mac and cheese, and it had a French onion vibe that was so good. The Philly Mac and cheese had crispy onions on top that were crispy and went well with the sauce.
The atmosphere was very chill, and the waiter was attentive but did not rush us.
We were the only ones there, which made me a bit sad. A place with this amazing of food should be full on the weekend. We will definitely be back.
My pot roast was not good at all. The meat was tender (boiled?) and had no flavor or vegetables. The gravy looked like a package mix and the collard greens that came with it were bitter and not seasoned well.
I don’t mean to bash, the food was just not cooked with love if that makes sense.
I ordered biscuits and gravy and a blueberry pancake on the side.
When they say meaty gravy, they aren’t kidding. It was very good. My husband got the eggs Benedict. He enjoyed it. They both came with the latke potato hash. So good.
Pancake tasted good as well.
Service was good and very friendly. Thank You Christopher!
We will be going back again for sure.
