Every time we’ve gone, the employees have been short, rude, and act as if customers are inconveniencing them simply by being there. It’s disappointing because it makes what should be an enjoyable experience feel uncomfortable. We actually would eat here much more often if the service matched the quality of the food.
Because of the repeated negative interactions, we’ve stopped dining in altogether and only order pickup now. Even then, the experience isn’t much better. When picking up an order, there’s usually minimal acknowledgment or assistance—often just a quick point toward a bag sitting on the back counter with something like “there’s your order.”
What’s most unfortunate is that this isn’t a one-time situation. It has happened every single time we’ve visited, and it’s usually the same employees displaying the same attitude. It’s really disappointing because this restaurant could easily be a favorite local spot with its good food and charming atmosphere, but the consistently poor customer service makes it hard to want to return. My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times, and the food is always really good. The atmosphere is also cute and has a lot of potential to be a great local spot. Unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been the worst part of the experience.

Free lemon water is excellent! The to-go containers are perfect for no spillage. Seriously worth it and a great addition to the Grand Blanc area.
Unfortunately, I did not like the flavor of my drink. I asked the lady at the counter if I could exchange it. She very rudely stated no, no refunds or exchanges. This is not a good policy to have in the food service industry. People are bound to not like something, and it shouldn’t be an issue to get an exchange. Not to mention the woman’s horrible attidude.
Lastly, I had to ask three times for a to go box for my leftovers. To which the two women at the counter ignored me. When I finally was responded to, I was met with the worst attitude. Then the two women began laughing and giggling quietly after I walked away. So unprofessional.
Place is nice, clean and modern, its pretty cool. Furniture is pretty clean.
They display menu on the screens, the food is “visible” too, everything looks fresh. Staff is kind.
Food is average good. It is pricey but quantities are ok.
But… we like to eat Ramen in real bowls. We like to dine in with real bowl plates and real ramen spoons not just plasticware not made to eat any kind of broth….seriously plastic cake spoons?! Naaaaah
Guess its more of a take out place?!
Also, there’s no kids menu or sides for little ones so… i will hardly be back with my fam.
Ramen bowls are $16 ave and Poke bowls $14 aprox.
Pros:
Clean
Charming Japanese inspired aesthetic
Extremely fresh ingredients
Excellent boba tea(Strawberry Kiwi Fresh Fruit Tea)
Very customer service oriented and attentive
Fantastic ramen bowls
Friendly atmosphere and smiling faces
Cons:
Soft open, so some wait times
I’ve been eagerly anticipating the opening of Mi Poke so I may have some bias. I was not disappointed by the soft open regardless of the wait. The strawberry kiwi Fresh Fruit boba tea was unique in presentation and was the freshest tasting and looking I’ve ever had.
All of the ingredients waiting to be prepared are at peak freshness and are arranged in an appealing and convenient fashion. My ramen was flawless. It looked like it was straight out of an illustration and tasted exactly like nostalgia for something I’d never had. The tonkatsu had the perfect amount of caramelization and char that it absolutely melted in my mouth. I’m a big fan of texture as well as flavor in my food and Mi Poke delivers everything you’d want in an upbeat and cute decor.
I’d recommend it as a date spot or someplace to bring your kids after school or on the weekends. They also do takeout and the portions are generous! Give Mi Poke a try and say hello to their friendly and professional staff. They’ve put a grand amount of work into this place and it definitely pays off!
